Well, you've read the notes, the notes were decisive, and now it is time for you to post until the decisive cows come home.

Yesterday, I finished formatting the acting edition of my one-person play, (Al) JOLSON, and now I am awaiting arrival (next week) of the proof copy for final corrections.

When finished, it will be available in both a paperback and Kindle edition.

Still hot here in Istanbul. We had a few raindrops last night but the thunderstorm forecast for today didn't arrive, in fact it's been mainly sunny. Visited the magnificent Ayasofya, previously a mosque but now a museum, as well as the Blue Mosque. Rode on the vintage tram which runs along the main shopping street, Istiki Al Cad. Plus, of course, lots of eating and drinking is going on!

Good morning, all! Too many Drama Book Shop dreams and one about a swimming pool and my Barnes & Noble manager Patty gave me a rather restless night. It didn't help that I was tipsy.

Yesterday afternoon, I met David Brophy, the conductor of EILEEN, at the Comfort Inn on 36th and 10th Avenue (oy!) where he and the RTE Concert Orchestra are being put up for this event at Alice Tully Hall tonight. My reaction was, why did you put one of your best performance groups in such a dump? I arrived there at 3, and the group showed up around 3:20 and checked in. David and I ran down to the Irish Rep at 22nd Street so he could meet a friend from RIVERDANCE whose staging the current production there.

After that, we walked up Eighth Avenue to 45th Street, sat in a bar with a pint, and caught up. At 6, we walked over to Joe Allen's and met Bruce, Rob, and Joshie for a wonderful birthday dinner. A very good time was had by all, and we rolled out of the restaurant around 8:45. I walked Brce over to his apartment and caught a cab uptown, posted and went to bed.

Today, I have little to do beyond work on recording notes. Tonight, I will trot down to Alice Tully Hall around 6pm, meet David in the lobby and get my ticket for the event.

Congrats on the sell out BK but I hope this doesn't mean that Kritzerland will become an '80s and '90s label - we have enough of those already! (I know it won't really because I know, like me, you love those '50s and '60s scores).

I liked the Modern Family season premiere ONE HOUR last night....THE MIDDLE was not quite as good....they tried to make ONE STORY last ONE HOUR......

Then I watched REVENGE, which was okay.....

(we actually listened to DONNYBROOK during my formative years, and I loved that number)

No peep from me.

I watched the season premiere (dvr-rd) of CASTLE last night.  I like the show more and more.

Then I continued to work my way through the first season of FRINGE.  One more episode to go, and I like where this is going.

What the hell? Where is everybody?

I'm thinking about turning on the AC. It's cool, but the humidity is killing me.

I've sent notes on EILEEN to the person in charge at New World Records.

I've spoken on the phone to Mr Ron Raines. He wanted to borrow my copy of the London cast CD of FOLLIES. I had to tell him I hated that version of the score and didn't have the CD.
