I'm up and dreamt not once but twice that the doorbell was ringing, which it most assuredly was not.  I must jog in about five minutes.  Looks chilly and gray out so I must wear sweatshirt instead of t-shirt.

The Dream-O-Matic 6000 has given out with the following interpretations:

DR ELMORE - you would rather stay home than go anywhere today, although you realize that you have more of an opportunity to see friends if you go OUT.

MR BK - your dream of the doorbell ringing tells us that you will soon receive a surprising opportunity because of an effort that you have already put forth, and that you had given up on coming true

Ricky got his head caught between the metal slat thingys on the back of the bar stool in the kitchen.

Years ago we were pet sitting a German Shepard puppy when something similar happened.  At least the puppy stayed calm as I was sitting next to her in the chair she got her head stuck in.  Keith was home & helped me get her unstuck.

Vibes this doesn't happen again!!!!!

From DR Laura:
Quote
I'm sure glad you were home to rescue Little Ricky! Once I discovered that one of the kittens had a cord twisted around his neck. I'm so glad I was here to rescue him.

So am I.  I also had one of those cord scares.  When we moved here all the blind cords in our bedroom & bathroom looked like cat nooses to me.  I immediately looped them all up our of the way.

I also have scars from cat rescues.  They do tend to panic.  DR Cilla how is your arm today?

DR George thanks for the REVENGE report.  I'm glad I passed on it.

Last night we watched Prime Suspect and A Gifted Man.  We liked them both & plan to continue watching, at least for now.

BK, since you often only eat one meal a day do you jog on an empty stomach?

I find that to swim or bike i cannot do it on an empty stomach or i don't have enough energy to do it.

Also, do you carry water with you. I see a lot of people jogging here everyday and almost none of them seem to have water bottles.  I can't bike without water. Although i can swim for an hour without drinking.

I exercise before eating and drinking much.  You are right it zaps some of my energy but if I eat & drink I get sick.  You are lucky you can eat first.  I wonder if you could jog after as it really bounces what is inside you ;)

Your mother really was young.  I was ready at 18 to get married, Keith needed another year which turned into two years because my parents wanted a big wedding for us.

I think it is wonderful your parents have celebrated 63 years.

Ricky was in full panic mode, I was afraid that he was going to fall off the chair and hang himself.  Anyway, I was there and the gash in my arm was worth it as he wasn't hurt.

The pillowcases on the backs as chair covers actually look nice and will stop him from putting his head in there again.  I'm going to go to Walmart or Shopko and see if I can find a color that will work better and not get dirty fast - I have off white on them right now.

He was very freaked out last night.  Boo was with him downstairs and I have a feeling she chewed him out for being so stupid as she was hissing at him and he stayed in the basement and he only goes down there at night when she chases him.  I sat with him down there and Boo was there too.  Then Callie came and sat in the door....it was really amazing, it was like she was the mother coming in to take over.    Later, when it was time for bed, I noticed Ricky was upstairs in the room Callie likes to be in, eating her food and she was sitting there purring.  Then I stopped in the room later and he was laying next to her.  I've only seen that once before in the last year.  She was purring and they were touching each other.

He came into my room later and cuddled more than he ever has.   He's ok now

And after tonight's performance, one of the "special interest" establishments in town is hosting a "Closing Week" party for the cast, crew and orchestra. Free pizza, free drinks (well, 2 of them), and Karaoke! Should be fun.

Special interest establishment?  Would that me a Hasidic Jewish bar?

Thanks, JRand.  It was very interesting to watch the dynamic between the cats.  Boo is a little out of joint today, but all in all things are getting back to normal

this morning Edith's husband came over to fix the downspout.  Since it's clear that the original part was hand made, I was glad to find out he's got a friend who can make a new one.  So he's going to get it to me to paint and get it rust rustproofed then he'll come over and finish it off.  It's much better than fixing the part, which is what I would have done.
