Get a condo, Tom! Like an apartment, you can get one with no yard that you have to take care of.

I probably can't afford one on my fixed income. It would be nice to be able to not have to worry about the outside maintenance.

It's still snowing down here in Tumwater, too. It started last night. I got a text from work saying our building wasn't going to open until 10:00 am. Since I don't come in before 10:00 anyway, it didn't affect me. But we also got an e-mail not too long ago saying that they're going to close the building at 4:00 pm. That will affect me, but in a good way. I was going to leave early and use vacation time so that I could see The Choir of Man tonight, but now I don't have to use my vacation time! It's Emergency Leave, because the Admin. decided to close the building!

It is beginning to snow here and we expect ice with the cold temperatures. We have to be able to drive up our driveway out of the parking lot around 6:00 tomorrow morning for me to get to the out-patient area of the hospital. Management just sent an email they are salting the driveways. Hopefully it will be ok.

Tell me about it. Last year we mutually agreed to raise it $100.00, because they had kept the rent the same for several years after I became disabled. But I certainly didn't expect this increase.

Are you going to call and see if they will reduce it? Does Washington have a rent increase cap?
