this one moment when one of the chorus guys comes out
That is one faboo cover, BK...except, why is he hugging a woman?? If he's a hot pants homo, shouldn't he be shown hugging another man? ;)Drag queens were much more thorough back then, don'tcha know.
TOTD:..."Spooks" having an unfortunate other meaning here in the U of S of A.
and "Spooks" (the first three series) (MI5 in the USA)
Lucheon greetings to the ISSAQUAH diners from DP Colin and myself.
And the word of the day is: LONGANIMITY!

I think that is my new philosophy.
At least you're "regular"

Funny, I don't remember that moment in Man of La Mancha!! ::)
I agree completely. Would have worked a lot better for me if he had been hanging on to a man.
George, read your e-mail!!![/b]

Just thought you'd like to know that all the proofreading you do is worth it. I have every book you've written to date and I have never found a typo or other error. So many books I read have numerous errors and in non-fiction books factual errors that it is refreshing to find books that are not only well-written and enjoyable, but are also error free. Keep up the good work. Your readers appreciate it.
HOT PANTS HOMO.......
I wish someone would do a book or a documentary on the artists and models who were responsible for all of those fantastic book covers in the 40s and 50s!

It's nearly Memorial Day Weekend....a lot of folks are getting an early start.

Brenda's kitty on THE CLOSER gets a little "face time" in today's dailies:
Watching the handlers, she seems like a very mellow kitty. And she gets lots of treats!
One of my favorite things about Kitty is how Brenda continues to refer to Kitty as a "he," even though "he's" given birth.
Yeah...my boss is letting me go a whole EXTRA HOUR early tomorrow afternoon! ::)
Weeds - Season 3? I don't believe I've heard of that show.
Will this be our lowest posting day ever? And, if so, why?
I glad to see the news about Ellen's upcoming marriage. It will be the largest Lesbian wedding since Liza Minnelli married David Guest!

Sometimes when you are trying to block a play, the actors suddenly forget that they have ever been onstage before, and can't figure out that we are blocking for a thrust stage and SO they shouldn't read the stage directions for a proscenium play.
Just listen to me and WRITE IT DOWN. We are running Act One again this evening.
I am on my way tomorrow at 5:00 AM to Nashville for a Wedding. I will not be back until late Monday Afternoon. Therefore, there will be no Songs of The Day on Friday,Saturday or Sunday. I wish all Our DR's a Wonderful Memorial Day Weekend.
I agree completely. Would have worked a lot better for me if he had been hanging on to a man.
As for "Weeds" - I like "Weeds". However, I do not like "weed", and, in fact, I believe I'm actually allergic to it, but have never been around it long enough to find out just how reactive I am/would be.
::)
TOD:
I love, love, love (that is 3 loves) the Italian espionage films...India also made some really fun ones...below are my 3 top favorites.

I spy me a DR TCB. But I'm afraid I'm too exhausted to stay up to find out how the lunch went today. :(
***VIBES OF FORTITUDE*** to DR elmore3003!
***REAL ESTATE CLOSING VIBES*** to DS Bryan!
***SAFE & EASY TRAVEL VIBES*** to DR ArnoldMBrockman! And have fun at the wedding! :D
DR TCB-
MRSA BEGONE VIBES!!!!
FEEL BETTER SOON!
DR Singdaw, thank you.
DR TCB-Thank you for the lunch news and I'm especially glad you didn't miss this special day.
DR TCB - I'm so glad you were able to meet Fred and Skip today. And I really do hope that your MRSA does not keep you from attending The Last Starfighter, or from doing anything else.
Your name came up qute often during lunch, Jose. Only nice things were said.
Define "nice". ;)
I was lucky. The numbing agent didn't wear off until we were eating. He gave me quite a bit, because he had to lance my whole armpit.
Awww, thanks. Although... Define "nice". ;)
TCB, I cursa da MRSA! I hope it improves quickly!
Vibes to Skip & Fred, and to the leading man's father.

Well, I'm doing something new and exciting. I'm posting from a laptop in the living room.
Yes, we now have a laptop thanks to George W. Bush. I spent my enticement on a Dell Vostro and it came this afternoon. I set it up and it has a built in wireless card so I decided to see what would happen. Lo and behold there are a few (low power) unsecured networks in my neighborhood and I'm on the net!
Ant will be taking this with him to Wisconsin but he's not leaving until the end of July. Until then we will play with the new toy. Signals seem to be better in the living room than the bedroom and on the dining room table but not by the window. Weird. Oh, well, at least it works. Hoo and Ray!

As for HOUSE:
WOW! We thought the two part season finale was fantastic. DR Matt H-I agree with your comments, still-great episode. We just sat there for a few minutes after it was over. And then we watched BONES-big mistake.
GREY'S ANATOMY had a crowded and very enjoyable set of stories on its two hour season finale. One of the most satisfying season finales I seen this year.
Can't wait to see what LOST comes up with next week.
And TCB, it is no wonder SECRET AGENT FIREBALL stuck in your mind...here is the star of the film, Richard Harrison!

George, read your e-mail!!![/b]
This video was posted on the Randy Newman group's list. but I thought the DR's might enjoy it. Great choreography and directing!

Why wasn't I at this lunch. Oh, yeah, I'm here in LA.
To be honest, a lot of names were brought up during lunch; and all of the talk was very nice. In fact, we were being so damn nice; you would have sworn we were auditioning for a remake of Polyanna.

I had read some bad press about UGLY BETTY's season finale, but I found it very good. Yes, there's a stupid cliffhanger, but I enjoyed the show otherwise.
I just love Betty's father, and Eddie Cibrian as Hilda's potential new boy friend - YUM!
I am sure that Fred and Skip would appreciate a few vibes sent their way. While we were at lunch, Skip received a phone call from the director of STARFIGHTER informing him that their leading man's (he plays Alex) father had suffered a stroke. Hopefully, everything will work itself out, but the first performance is tomorrow night.
