I hate to post and run, but I still need to take a shower before I go to my parents.  Have a good day, all!

DR Edi,

Any time you need a consultation (phone or e-mail) about your video set-up, I'm just a mouse click or a phone call away.

Unfortunately I did not have my camera with me upon meeting DR Singdaw (alias Naomi), which is a shame as he was not only very tall and handsome, much more so then even his avatar would suggest, but one heck of a neat guy!

And DR Danise, we thought of you a lot during the NYC get together, wishing you were there with us.

Old fogeys can be cute and cuddly and absolute joys to be around.
(Just ask ME and TCB)   :o

I'm older than BOTH of you, curse the luck. I guess that makes me an ancient fogey.

Although I did not get to see TPunk in the flesh while in NYC, as she was camping with the girls, I did get to speak to her via telephonic device, which was very nice.

Thanks you so much, DR MBarnum, for the wonderful pictures of some of our HHW favorites. It really helps to share these moments, and I enjoyed the photos a lot.

Thanks, too, to DRs TCB and George for their enlightening photos as well.

I had a grand time sunbathing and swimming this afternoon. Some pictures were taken, but I'm not promising anything until I lay eyes on them first. It was only my friend Jeff and I at the pool.

On Saturday in NY we had a lovely soiree at the apartment of DR FJL and DH Skip. Here we see Elmore3003 and DD Tobey (or is that Dillon?)

When I got back, I had time to listen to a little more of the ACE IN THE HOLE running commentary while I prepared lunch. A little dry for my tastes, but it's certainly a thorough commentary.

Much delicious food was offered at Fred and Skips...I mean LOTS of food! Man 'o man was it good! Here is a small portion of what we devoured (referring to the food, not Jose, who is seen here dipping into the dip)

I did manage to watch part of a MURDER SHE WROTE episode this afternoon. Over its 12 seasons, I was very consistent in watching almost every week, but this was obviously a week I missed because I had never seen this episode before, set in a San Francisco opera house. Among the guest stars are Carol Lawrence, Theodore Bikel, Jerry Stiller, and Kathleen Beller.

Mid-afternoon today, we had a positively horrif rain and hail storm that was among the most violent I've seen in years. We had hail a week or two ago, but this was so thick and lasted so long that my front yard looked snowed in with the ice. Simply amazing.

Also at the partay, but on the other side of the couch were Richard and Rodzinski....which sounds like a 1960s pop duo.

Also present at Fred and Skips partay, were of course, Fred and Skip. However, under threat of physical harm special request they asked not to be photographed.

DR MBarnum - your photos are great and your captions are even better.  BTW, I've decided I hate my hair and must have something different done to it ASAP!

On Sunday Rodzinski and I shopped around an outdoor flea market where he found the most wonderful item: an old pull down school world map which now graces his apartment.

Afterwards we hopped the train for Jackson Heights and spent a good portion of the day in Little India where I shopped, and shopped, and shopped...and just when I thought I could shop no more...we ate at an Indian buffet.

Here is our waiter. His name is Som, and he is way cuter then this photo shows. He was quite amazed at the loot (bollywood DVDS/cds) that I had purchased. I may have flirted with Som a bit, I am not sure. I do know that I wanted to  take him home with me...but since home at that time was Rodzinski's apartment...well, you have to be courteous when you are a guest.

I suggest this, DR Ginny.........

...or perhaps this......

Either would look lovely on you, just my humble opinion.

In this shot you can see some of the stores in which I shopped at Little India.

Bombay Bazar is where I bought my two Kurtas from a very cute Sari clad salesgirl. The store was having a special, 30 % off. I couldn't resist.

On the street level, to the right you will see the stores Bollywood Music and Punjab Music. Both stores took a lot of my cash money.

If Rodzinski hadn't told me it was time to leave I would still be shopping there, even now.

Off to finish that MURDER SHE WROTE episode, finish up with ACE IN THE HOLE, and then enjoy THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA in HD.

Am I in the right spot? it's been a confusing day. In an elsewhere discussion of INTO THE WOODS< somone said they preferred the English cast because they werent a fan of BP; I started guessing, British Petroleum?, Blood Pressure?. BP, of course, meant Bernadette Peters. Shame on Me. Favorite EG performance and film=Key Largo and Brother Orchid, with, for camp value C>B> DeMille's THE TEN COMMANDMENT

LOL, DR MBarnum!  Those girls look right out of my high school yearbook.  Actually, I had something more like Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada in mind.  Maybe more curly.

Inside the building we find Jose collecting his daily mail (not his daily male, however...that is what the computer is for)

Jose gave me the grand tour of the apartment (both floors) and I met one of his roomies, Megan.

Here is a shot of the door to their wonderful backyard.
