Has anyone realize that actor Peter O'Toole has a double phallic name?
Oy, I should only be so fat when I'm your age.
(Maybe I could if I lose 10 or 50 pounds.)
MR BK said my jacket would be perfect - if I was doing The Music Man.
And the word of the day is: DISPORT!
I'm in Houston now, and we shall hopefully be boarding in about thirty-five minutes.
Argh!
Once again, I'm seeing about half of the pictures and the other half are 'x'ed out.

Strange - they're all in the same place on my hard drive and all from the same source. Who knows.....

It must have something to do with file size. Maybe my computer just can't open pictures of a certain size. That's pure guesswork, however.
Here's a musical I'll come to NYC to see if it makes it to Broadway next season - YANK!
I apologize for my post about Evil Kurt and jumping off that bridge. I was being was highly insensitive. The bridge is spelled "Tallahatchie" - regrets to people troubled by the spelling error.
re: the weight gain discussion from last nightI always watch what I eat. But that doesn't mean I lose any weight. I watch it and watch it and watch it.
I have not weighed myself in forever. And i was pretty horrified this week when i did so. I guess i will just have to watch what i eat and keep biking everyday.
Pogue is back home. We left at 3:35 AM I got back at 5:35 on the dot. Now sleep. More anon.
We did this one on one-liner day, but:
I've been on a diet for a week now. So far, I've lost seven days.
MR BK and the Fat Man. :P
MR BK and the Fat Man. :P
My favorite photo :)
Back vibes for DR TCB.
Back vibes for DR TCB.
Thanks Jack. Is there any way to order one of those BRAIN t-shirts?
Kathryn Grayson in THE DESERT SONG is on TCM at 8 pm, EDST.....I haven't seen it for many years, and hopefully I will remember to watch it tonight....
Gordon MacRae and Steve Cochran are also in this movie.
Argh!

DR MattH, try right clicking on the "x" and see if a "view image" instruction pops up.

Thanks for the heads up, I just scheduled this to be recorded.
I mouthed off to Keith while he was giving Sherlock a shower, not a wise thing to do to a person holding a water sprayer ;D I wish I had a photo of his expression he soooo wanted to get me. I figured the realization he would also spray the entire bathroom saved me, nope only that it wasn't right to "get" a partial invalid. :) Boy or boy, did he ever want to spray me. :)
DR FJL I am sure DR GEORGE's personal brain IS lovely, but yes I was referring to his photo from yesterday.
DR CP obviously needs to be more aware of where the camera is. I Myself, if cameras are around, exhibit behavior much like that of Jerry Lewis in THE ERRAND BOY.
BK, I envy you the trip to Gold Star, though I always preferred Skyline Chili myself. I haven't made a good pot of Cincinnati chili in a while. May have to change that in the near future.
Since DR ELmore is working his way through season three of BONES, I thought I'd do the same, so I watched the first two episodes of the season while I cooked and ate lunch. This is the Gormagon season, so a good number of episodes focus on that either partly or wholly. This was the writer's strike season, so it's shorter than the others, and the writers didn't really get a chance to delve deeply into the cannibal's conscripting of one of the lab's workers. I guess that's why it was SO unsatisfying for me once the identity was revealed at the end of the season. It just didn't ring true and seemed so haphazardly arrived at.
Loved the Brain photos, JRand!
Am I the only one who wants to know what Jane said?
I'm home. The flight was fast and on time. Then we had a car hiccup in that the guy wrote down PM instead of AM, so I had to sit at the airport for forty minutes while he came to get me.
I am so glad,a nd not at all surprised, that the "Brain" was a great success!
Zubrick did indeed come by the table and hang out (so to speak) - in fact, I told him from whence the name Zubrick came - he seemed a little shocked.
Back vibes for DRs TCB and MattH! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If either of you (or anybody else) has any remedies for sore lower backs i'd be interested in hearing too. At least my problem does not hurt when i bike or walk. But it is recurring and everytime i sit or lie down i feel it.
The new book is going up for preorder this very evening.
Tomorrow, they are blocking off four blocks including right in front of my house to film some stupid PSA commercial that involves a car accident.
Work project, shmirk project--I pumped out three (count 'em) reviews today. Oy. ;)
LOL....after the show, you couldn't get close to MR BK without a pair of good elbows....and/or a tight sweater.
Then I watched four BONES episodes including the one with pony fetishes (guest starring the hunky Michael Cudlitz of SOUTHLAND fame) and the one with the corpses turning up in haunted houses and Halloween mazes.
DR Jeanne - How was the concert? ;)
That doesn't look quite right, but you know what i mean: is it a general issue or just on my Mac?
Thanks, Jeanne.
The words "Normal" and "HHW" can indeed be used in the same sentence: HHW's bk is a dear friend of Next to Normal's Alice Ripley.
Everything seemed scrunched for a half minute, but it got better after i refreshed
DR Jeanne - How was the concert? ;)
Sigh. My friend who had the tickets has a bad cough and I was a bit under the weather today myself, so we missed it. I had been looking forward to it. I think I'll have to keep the LACO on my radar, though.
Jose, was today your last performance?
I'm having some allergy problems. I'm about to take a needed hot shower, and then I'll probably post the notes around ten.
Woooooohoooooooooooo.....midnight on the WEST COAST.
they may be perusing the notes....certainly FACEBOOK has been buzzing among them about Mr Kimmel's visit....all positive of course.
DR CP and I are relegated to the background as non-persons in the coverage. As we read, that may have been DR CP's plan....

I am listening to a fabulous new cd, Maria Friedman Celebrates the Great British Songbook. Wow! A true highlight is a magnificent cover of Gilbert O'Sullivan's "Alone Again Naturally, " a stunning "White Cliffs of Dover" (with "Dido's Lament") runs that a close second. Plus, any cover of "What Kind of Fool Am I?" only adds more pleasure. And then to top it all off, there's "Diamonds are Forever."
Aren't you in tech yet, George?
It was indeed a great weekend - one I sorely needed. And I keep thinking about Gold Star Chili and the Coney dogs. Jrand and Evil Kurt were terrific and fun, and Evil Kurt is even going to try and arrange a book signing for me.
And the book is live at Kritzerland.
I really like the book encapsulation, BK.
