George, Bad Salsa was my mom’s favorite. I thought Christina Rae was a shoo-in. I didn’t much care for the country-rock duo. They were good, but it was all covers and not in any new way. But maybe that’s what voters liked. I loved the poet, but found him an odd fit on the show.

The poet was an odd fit, but even though I'm not a poetry fan, I thought that it was kinda cool that a new genre was even making its way in the competition.

I also didn't care for the country duo, and I thought it was interesting that they actually crossed their fingers. ::)

The answer to life, the universe, and everything.

Actually, it's the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything.  But of course, no one knows the question. ;)

Woke up from my nap to texts that Mom is in the hospital. They don't know yet what happened, but she may have had a mini-stroke, which they're looking into and which may have caused her to fall. She complained of rib pain, so they're checking that out as well.

Here are the boys!  Looking good after their afternoon at the groomer.  Ben is on the left and Leo is on the right.

They're so cute, Matthew!

Out of sheer boredom, tonight I watched SUPERMARKET SWEEPS.  I thought I remembered from my childhood that it was a really stupid show.  Guess what?  It still is stupid.
