I wanted to sleep later but Annabelle and Thatch wanted breakfast.  But now that I am dressed, I cannot get the energy up to accomplish anything.

DR ChasSmith, the Library for Performing Arts used to have a huge, fantastic sale every year to weed out duplicates of things in the colletion.  I always worked the sheet music section, which was under the charge of the late great, truly wonderful Betty Chapin.  I loved her.

Those sales are a thing of the past, thanks to several disgruntled contributors, but they were a wonderful way to spend a Sunday and a good amount of money.

Tonight, if’n I feel like it, or maybe tomorrow, I’m going to go back up to Poughkeepsie to see the ANYTHING GOES I subbed for last week.  I especially want to hear how the band ended up sounding, and how well they’re pulling off piping them in from another room.  (Lovely Theater, No Pit — sadly, an all too common syndrome.). The sound guy sounded like he really knew his sh stuff, but we’ll see.

Tax vibes for DR ELMORE.  At least you have help from Annabelle and Thatch this year!  Can you take them as deductions?

That one would have to have been incredible.

DR TCB the songs for MAMMA MIA are always listed like that.  I asked about it when we saw the touring show.....someone said that it kept the audience in surprise about what song was coming next......

Very pleased to find out Paolo Montalban had just been having an off performance the first time you saw him, TCB.  I'm still adjusting to the fact that he's now in the Pierce Brosnan part, but getting older is much better than the alternative.

Too bad (occasional?) DR Julie has put being an attorney aside for show biz. And also she's in NY anyway.

I honestly don't know.  I will tally up the vet bills and adoption costs and present them to my accountant and let him make the call.  I might be able to deduct the adoption costs as contributions.  We'll see.

TOD:
"Levi!" is in my car CD player. Mark never got to see the show, due to some untimely business, so I've been making him listen to the CD. He likes it!
