DR ELMORE the Dream-O-Matic 6000 says that your dream indicates that you feel you are not given proper instruction or tools for the jobs you are expected to do.  You also feel that some things are misrepresented to you by those who should know better.

Hmmmm . . .

I liked the one better where I thought I might be traveling for work.

Dream-o-Matic is a science, not a popularity contest.

Or so I'd think.

Saturday afternoon greetings!  Spent the morning cleaning, organizing, and loading the car full of stuff for next month's AAUW garage sale.  After we've both had lunch, Richard and I will deliver said stuff to Rose's garage.

Back from a little shopping, which is a little more than I like these days.

Elmore, my friend Bill, who recently moved back to Dayton, has been hired by Miami U. to teach a couple of introductory journalism classes.

I think he started his collegiate career there, but, well, after a year of enjoying the social life more than the academic life, he ended up at the University of Kentucky, where you had to enjoy the social life more because the academic life was rather embarrassing.

TOD - In addition to many of the ones already mentioned, I'd add IN THE HEIGHTS and THE PRODUCERS.

Thanks for all the Macbook vibes. My Macbook says it's already feeling a bit more chipper. It's looking forward to its physical and treatment next week, after which it should be as good as new. (Well, sort of.)

So sorry to hear about Jane & Keith's accident. Not a nice welcome to a new state! I'm glad there were no injuries, but I think you're wise, Jane, to soak in a hot bath.

Bumper vibes.

I'm feeling worn out from a busier week than I'd intended. Where does all this stuff come from? I have some cleaning to do today, but the rest can wait. I'm pooped.

The only "new" musical I've seen is THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X, which I enjoyed very much.

I'm up, I'm up.  I managed to get through the night so the food stayed down.  I did get up at four for a couple of hours and was worried about it but that probably had more to do with WHEN I ate.  So, I got a bit over eight hours of sleep and as I said, I'm doin' nothin' but relaxing today.

Great Bruce, I'm hoping you are better! Sounds more likely that you suffered a bout of food poisoning. Improperly handled shellfish can be the cause. But, I'm very happy that you are on the upswing! :)

Wow. The couple from the Woodstock album cover are still together, all these years later.

That's really cool.

Ireland appears to have voted overwhelmingly in favor of marriage equality.

I'd read that this morning HERE

Quote
Ireland became the first country in the world to vote in favor of legalizing gay marriage Saturday after a resounding victory for "Yes" campaigners.

At final count, 62 percent voted in favor of legalizaing gay marriage in the country, while 38 percent voted against it. Nearly 2 million people voted, with more than 1.2 million voting "yes" and 734,300 voting "no."

The Schoenberg is early Schoenberg - Verklärte Nacht (Transfigured Night) - before he went completely 12-tone. Thankfully.     :)

I'll take Schoenberg for the win by two.
