Larry - Are you assuming the composer checks his email regularly, even on a holiday?

He might even have been away for the holiday and not had email access - is that possible?

One of my favorite lines of ALL is in "Fifth of July" - when a girl knocks down the leading man:

"I told you he had a wooden leg!"

"Oh!  I just thought you meant he could drink a lot!"

Our building potluck dinner last night was nice.  There were more neighbors than we expected.  We were able to visit with people we normally wave to in passing.

DR FJL, the company rehearsed Monday and they rehearse today.  The composer's wife is the musical director.  I receive daily schedules from stage management.  They're working and they clearly expect me to be, so answer my question, dammit.

So, I've now sent another email to the composer and cc'ed the stage manager.

Some s.o.b. hacked my e-mail this morning, which resulted in everybody I sent an announcement to re: JACKIE GOES TO DIXIE getting four (4) announcements instead of one (1). Sorry about that if you were on my announcement list.

The problem has now been fixed, but I can't SEND any e-mails until tomorrow after midnight.

Plenty of fireworks here, but not at all like what vixmom was describing, and I heard nothing later than around 10 pm or so.  In this neighborhood we heard much more activity on the 3rd than on the 4th.

I think there's going to be something on the ballot this year to ban fireworks within Tumwater city limits.  My niece would LOVE that because of her hearing condition.  Those kinds of sounds (and crowd noises) are physically painful to her...and there's no cure. :(

Very Warm for May and Prettybelle are definitely on my list. Anything with Karen Morrow, too, which could be its own category, from I Had a Ball to Grass Harp.

It was only noisy here for about two hours. I walked over to the church to be sure no one was in the parking lot setting off fireworks -- we've found them before. All I found was the man who sets up camp there once in a while.

George, of the shows on your list that I saw, including Grind, Side Show and Play On!, you did miss some good things. I would say Side Show was the best. Grind was the most lavish. And we'll, Play On had the best music, thanks to Duke Ellington.
