On Saturday, my friend Shelly stopped by (she used to be the property manager of my condo complex) because she got a new phone and didn't have my phone number anymore. We chatted a bit and were thinking that we'd get together on Monday (today) and ketchup on things that've happened over the last couple of years.

She used to live here, but her dad wasn't doing well, so she sold her condo and for the last couple of years, she lived with him and took care of him. He died last year, but she recently was able to sell his house (for about $50,000 OVER the asking price!!) and is now renting back here in the condo complex until she decides what she wants to do. So, we'll ketchup today on what's been going on! I don't know what time, though, so I'll get up when I get up, take a shower, get dressed, and then let her know that I'm up.

Today is Memorial Day, so I won't say, "Happy Memorial Day." I can't believe that people actually say that. And all the sales that are advertised for today! What's that all about?? Anything for a buck, I guess.

I apologize for missing last night's show. I wasn't sure that I would get to it because of my current health situation, but around mid-afternoon my gastrointestinal system in a determined effort to my life more miserable flared up, and I spent much of my time after that in the bathroom with three curious cats chatting at me and offering unwanted advice. By 7:00 EST I was in bed.
