Topic of the Day:  I had recorded the last three episodes of Doctor Who and watched those pretty quickly.  I also have the episodes from this season and about half from last season of Grey's Anatomy.  I really need to watch those so that I can delete them from my DVR.  Otherwise, I rarely binge watch anything.

Today, I'm back to work after the three-day weekend, and all of the end of the month things have to get done this week, and so they shall.  But first, I'm off to bed.

Have a good day, all!

Three days away from radiation and my bladder seems much happier not to be inflamed and irritated. I suspect the next two days will wreak hell on it, but I'm also wondering if my PSA might ber dropping back to a healthier level. We'll see.

My plans for a ME day yesterday worked out as well as my IRS preparation planning. Instead, I spent most of my day dealing wiht budgets and other concerns of this potential recording project. If I had had any foresight that I would be doing this sixty years ago, I would have taken a couple of business courses as well as several in grant and business proposal writing.

One question yet to be resolved is do we ask for funding to make four or six recordings? The orioginal four are set, but I'd like to give two of my colleagues something they would seriously like to see recorded.

DR George, how many years ago did you order that car? Wouldn't it have been easier to pick something off the lot?

Topic of the day: I had them to access to two programs: Star Trek Picard in Star Trek Discovery. Very interesting reworking of the Star Trek franchise. Most interesting thing is the use of four letter words and the violence that you don’t see in the movies or the TV series of the past

Had a horrible night. I must have had some food poisoning because I got sick and blacked out for a moment in which I went sprawling across the bathroom. Landed with a thump on my left upper thigh, which is still sore.

Otherwise, am feeling tired and slightly queasy. Nothing like that has happened before. Hope it never happens again.

Any Lyle Lovett fans out there? He’s going to be playing up the road from me in a fairly small venue. Byt tickets are $100 apiece. I just can’t see paying that.

A new performing arts arena is opening south of town. They’ve got Smashing Pumpkins, which I enjoyed about 25 years ago.

I’m old.

It's terrific, indeed. Welcome to "2'sDay"    2/22/22

Not only is it 2'sDay, but when written in Brit-style format and in the right computer-y/digital font, it's both a PALINDROME and an AMBIGRAM, meaning it reads the same left to right, right to left, and upside down.

And this date pattern can never happen again, because there's no 33rd day of a month. So that's it, kids. Enjoy it while you've got it. That's all she wrote. This is the last one. The End. Finis.

TOD

Between the shows I've collected on DVD and Blu-ray and those available from any number of other sources, I should be binge-watching much more than I actually do. I have no shame in saying I love doing it. I do not discount the traditional experience of enjoying a weekly bit of suspense wondering what's going to happen in the next episode of something, but I do love the modern convenience of being able to have it all at your fingertips ... and just binge, baby, binge.
