Had a horrible night. I must have had some food poisoning because I got sick and blacked out for a moment in which I went sprawling across the bathroom. Landed with a thump on my left upper thigh, which is still sore.

That's scary, DR John G! Feel better.

Terrific Tuesday vibes for MR BK.  I hope he found a couple of good wrestlers for the show.

We are collecting all the documents to take care of Uncle Wayne's 2021 taxes.
The preparation place sent us a checklist.  My sister wants to make an appointment......I said don't make an appt. until we're sure we have ALL the documents we need.....  She doesn't seem to understand that will just mean ANOTHER trip....if we don't have everything.

DR George, how many years ago did you order that car? Wouldn't it have been easier to pick something off the lot?

Yes, but I want a manual transmission.  Automatics are everywhere, but I wanted to be different. ;)

It's terrific, indeed. Welcome to "2'sDay"    2/22/22

Not only is it 2'sDay, but when written in Brit-style format and in the right computer-y/digital font, it's both a PALINDROME and an AMBIGRAM, meaning it reads the same left to right, right to left, and upside down.

Amazing! ;D

Very nice house and listing, DR Jrand71.

And yes, it needs the rest of the pictures! :)  How does it happen that they omitted the bedrooms and bathrooms? I also think a simple floor plan is very helpful, especially when it comes to what something like a basement layout is. And all the rest, really. (I'm always trying to assemble the layout from pictures in my poor little head.)

But it looks great, and I'll bet it sells quickly.

I am back from lunch.  I went to Riley's on Main (on Calhoun Street, natcherly).

Today I had some sort of beans, some mac n cheese, a single chicken tender and some spaghetti.  Had a chocolate puddin' for dessert.  Topped it all off with a glass of unsweetened ice tea.  It was filling.

I then went to a local market and bought a loaf of bread and a can of Pringles chips.

I am ready for the rest of the day.

Before I did all that, however, I mailed out all my tax payments -- state, federal and my CPA payment.

It's good to be done with it all.

I had a very nice, restful sleep last night.

I was sorry to read about DR JohnG's experience.

I had a similar experience many years ago.  I think it was 1996.  I hadn't had anything bad to eat.  I got up from bed to go to the bathroom and suddenly found myself face down on the floor as my muscles spasmed.  I cracked a few ribs, I did, so I must have fallen flat on my chest.   I guess I wasn't fully awake, but I did black out or fall asleep until the rude awakening.

I had to go to work the next day as it was "Bring Your Daughter to Work Day" and one of my people was in charge and I had duties to perform.  Those duties were to bring in Orange Juice and doughnots for the morning, and then to pick up pizzas for lunch.

I was in a lot of pain, but I got all done and left work right after pizzas were delivered.  Went to the doctor, got x-ays and then received some very wonderful, wondrous, beautiful meds:  Some for after work and some FOR work.

The after work meds were delightful, as I recall.  I remember I had gotten two CDs in the mail that same day.  One was an expanded "Close Encounters of the 3rd Kind" and the other was Michel Legrand's "The Thomas Crown Affair". I sat cross-legged ina stuffed chair and listened to both CDs twice.  I remember being amazed and awed by both of them.

Such are the vagaries of wonderful pain killers.

(i also know the dangers and never abused them).

P.S. to the previous post:

The meds FOR work were quite effective, so much so that I was able to work through a day most comfortably without any side effects.

I did have one bad experience, though.  I was standing at a cabinet and pulling files from a drawer.  There was dust, i guess, because something caused me to sneeze.

It did not occur to me NOT to sneeze, and I found myself on my knees following the sneeze.  I wasn't hurt, but I learned to suppress such things until I was more healed.

Oh no.  If all you have is a sore thigh you are very lucky.  Vibes you heal quickly and don't have lingering issues.

Otherwise, am feeling tired and slightly queasy. Nothing like that has happened before. Hope it never happens again.

Hopefully never again.  It is scary to black out.

That's good.  I hope sooner than later.  Vibes she is right that it was more important to get it up for sale before presenting the house to the best advantage.

The way I sneeze changed when I had bruised ribs.  Broken, the pain must have been terrible.

DR JANE there are three fireplaces in the house.....one in the living room, the white brick wall, one in the TV room in the basement, red brick, and one in the family room with a nice mantel.

All three have been sealed and waterproofed.  The fireplace in the family room is set up so that you can have an electric log.  The house is totally electric [kitchen, laundry, heating/cooling] so no gas log can be used......

Nero Wolfe. It only ran one season.
