I’m pleased to announce that the audio edition of my one-woman play, IDA: THE LAST LUPINO is now available for download via audible.com, Amazon and iTunes.

Kathleen Godwin delivers a powerful performance as Ida Lupino in the drama, which joins the star of HIGH SIERRA, THEY DRIVE BY NIGHT and ROAD HOUSE; director of THE HITCH-HIKER, as well as other films, in 1983 when she is living alone in her decaying Brentwood home as a virtual hermit, lamenting the break-up of her marriage to actor Howard Duff.

Enhanced with music and sound effects, IDA: THE LAST LUPINO is a vivid, often witty, portrait of a woman who conquered a man's world.

Congrats.

Oh, man.....chemo brain.....  I did get emails last night....I answered two of them....

I went back to the email after checking Facebook and forgot I had already been there.

Now you know why there is a post it note on my front door that asks: "DO YOU HAVE YOUR KEYS?"

The good news is you figured it out.

DR George the movie must have been beautiful on the large screen.  Overall I enjoyed it.

Wednesday morning greetings!  We're taking it slow today and I have a lot of computer work to do, both for AAUW and for DAR.

Remember that check from Dublin?  It was returned to my bank from the "system" because it wasn't endorsed.  When I gave the teller the check two weeks ago, I asked if i needed to endorse it and was told no.  It's now signed.  Who the hell knows when I'll ever see that money?

I always endorse check and have never asked if it is needed.  When Craig was in Romania I deposited money into his account and, of course, he hadn't endorsed the checks.  Was it stamped with the account number in front of you?

DR elmore did you speak to the bank manager?  Maybe the rules are different for out of country checks.

My sister loved her dining room chairs.....they are really very nice.  Four solid wood chairs with nice striped padded seats....retro design backs....tick tack toe wood design...$7.98 each with 40% off....$5.03 each.....

My tire changeovers are free right now because I bought them there.  :)

Brakes would have been $250 without a flush of the system, but it’s advisable to do it, and it doubles the life of the warranty.

Titles will be live shortly.  They should be live now, but I'm afraid Doug has been a little slow on the uptake today.

Titles are live now at Kritzerland.  Don't wait too long on these - I think at 500 these two will go very quickly.  And actually we're about to sell out of The House That Dripped Blood.

Yesterday went really well.  We began with "Say It With Gin" and went on to the Overture and "Please Don't Make Me Be Good." Robin came in and recorded that and her overdubs in "Take Me Back To Manhattan" and "Let's Fly Away." We also recorded Ruth's track for "The Physician."  In the afternoon Cyrille recorded "Love For Sale," and Tam and Scarlett did "Where Have You Been?," Tam recorded his verse to "Take Me Back To Manhattan" with the band, Scarlett did a very lovely "Night and Day," and the orchestra was finished.  I chatted a bit with some of the players before I headed home.

Everything should begin with gin.

Well, the repairs and a transmission flush (like the tires, I get a warranty with that) only came to half of my tax refund. I didn’t do everything they suggested. I’ll space that out over a few months.

Yes DR CHAS SMITH I almost always get the recommended additional work done.....except at the oil change place.....they seem a bit pushy and overpriced.....

What is the most surprising or interesting Friend Request you have gotten on Book Face?

Thanks to everyone who talked about THE WEDDING SINGER last night, I sent for the Broadway CD to hear it.....since DR VIXTER did it in high school, I am assuming it is available for production by community theatres as well.

Yes, it is.

Last night on THE KIDS ARE ALL RIGHT, Timmy was trying to get onto the Columbia lot to audition as a PARTRIDGE FAMILY replacement.  The security guard was played by...Danny Bonaduce...
