We went to Best Buy as Keith wanted a Fitbit and a Fitbit scale.  I was all for the scale if it connected to my Fitbit.  He did not get a fitbit and purchased a scale with a health app he downloaded to his phone.

The scale is ok, except I "gained" half a pound.

LOL DR JANE - I am afraid just the "idea" that it's not meat would not allow me to believe it tasted the same.....

Burgers without MEAT?

What is this madness?

I refuse to even let the thought cross my mind....

;D

Even if it tastes exactly the same as meat, is healthier, and better for the environment?

I love vegetables. I love meat. I don't want vegetables that taste like meat (except portobello mushrooms, which can taste like beef bone marrow). And I don't want meat that tastes like vegetables. It's really simple.

That said, I made something wonderful tonight. Low-carb cauliflower "mac" and cheese. It was also gluten-free. It didn't really taste like mac and cheese, but it was rich and satisfying, and I guess for people who have to keep gluten-free, it was a nice side dish.

It was also easy.

I’d enjoy that any old day. I’ve indulged in a number of broccoli-cheese, cauliflower-cheese, and broccoli-cauliflower-cheese things.

Is tomorrow really Monday?  This was truly an old-fashioned weekend — the kind that escapes faster than wind from a duck.

We got zero cms of the the 30 cms of predicted snow. That part is good. But we have had really bad freezing rain tonight. And I think tomorrow is going to be fairly disastrous. I thought it was Spring!

Finished up Three Billboards Outside ... Some fine performances, and the script was at times excellent. But I don't think that either script or performances really deserved the Oscars they won.

I have started watching an unedited King Lear with Michael Hordern as Lear and Penelope Wilton as Regan, looking far more vicious than she ever did on Downton Abbey. Brenda Blethyn is Cordelia. I will have to finish this up tomorrow.

I have seen recipes for this.  Thanks for the description cuz I did not think it would taste like mac and cheese.

Is there a movie you think deserved to win instead?

Home from seeing nine fairly dreadful one act plays.  I think the one act play has kind of lost all meaning, frankly.  One act sketches would be more like it.

Today, I'm working concessions for the Silent Movie Series: Charlie Chaplin Shorts.  I love these silent movies with live organ music.

Sounds like fun.

It was!  I love their silent movie series with the live organ accompaniment.  However, because I was working concessions,
I didn't get to see the entire program...I did get to see a lot of it, though.

We got new credit card machines and were shown how to learn how they work, so that was a good reason to miss some of the Charlie Chaplin movies.

I really regretted giving Tracy all the leftover Chinese food last night.

It did. :)
