It's so weird to me that we read a lot of the same stuff yet you think this and i think the opposite.I believe that april would 100% vote for maggie. And so would janelle and rachel (remember how much she said she hated iv at sequester).Beau would vote for ivette and so would james. Howie i am not sure about. And i think jen would vote for maggie but not positive.I think mags would definitely win vs. Ivette.I don't think Janelle can win against Maggie. Because April/Beau/Ivette/Jen would guarantee her win. The only one who might be iffy is april. But she loves maggie and would vote for her.
I did not know that. I only knew about your former life as a teacher. How does one become film critic? For that matter how does one become a food critic? Or theatre critic?
See? That's why I love this site so much all the new stuff I learn. I shall have to see if I can get my hands on a copy of this.
Someone just sent me this
I have WOMAN OF THE YEAR on CD, but I suspect it's out of print now. It was issued early in the CD era.
can't answer for anyone else but in my case it was having a pretty wide range of knowledge about film and filmmakers, submitting samples to a local newspaper syndicate, and getting hired. I was there for 16 years - three columns a week. (I did this in addition to teaching full time AND doing the occasional part in a play. Ah, the joys of youth!). I was two years with a local free paper and then seven years with a news service. When I got cast in FOREVER PLAID knowing we were going to be touring the show on weekends for a long time, I left that job and haven't written full-time since.
Have you considered doing it again?
Get your hands on which?? J. Edgar or Falsettos?
And "this" looks exactly like a person who might have crabs.
Shhh...don't tell anyone, but a friend of mine gave me a copy of the tour cast with Lauren.
I always think he's miscast because he's a lousy actor, at least in the films that I've seen him in.I concur about ROLLOVER. After a long string of hits starting with JULIA, this Jane Fonda movie was DOA. It was laughably bad as I recall.
I haven't actively pursued it. Retirement seems to suit me, but then, no one's been beating down my door with offers either!
Hot Voodoo...that's my special name for those especially cleansing BMs.
VoodooThe doo dooYou do do so wellWhere Madeline Kahn when you need her?
So yours would have the song changes made to the opening of the show and the title song especially?
I'm recalling ROLLOVER as a sort of CHINA SYNDROME with finance substituting for nuclear fuel. Aren't there scenes during the climax where sweaty-faced stock brokers and traders are running around in a panic shouting "Rollover! It's rolling over!"?
Ummm...actually, I don't know. I probably listened to it once when I first got it, but haven't listened to it since. I guess I'll listen to it again very soonly!
I'm tiredTired of playing the game ....
Wow--I'm just not seeing her in that part.
Has anyone else noticed that NO ONE has mentioned "Gone With the Wind" as one of their favorite movies from the '30s?
