Guess I will get up.
I was not amused.
And a happy Ado Annie Day to all!

I guess I don't know that reference.
Today I shall journey down to the theatre to sell tickets - or rather - not sell tickets for Beauty and the Beast since there aren't any.....then work the concessions and then clean up afterwards....
Major vibes for the Vixfamily.

Are supposed to not say no today? Are we supposed to ask folks for a Persian Goodbye or an Oklahoma Hello?
DR GINNY I hope you have as much fun at your 50th high school reunion as I had at mine last April.....
I was awakened by a lamp falling on me. Annabelle's jumping up on bookcases and elevated surfaces this morning, Her leap over a sleeping me to the top of a filing cabinet brought down the lamp, but no books, thank God.
Please hold for a special announcement:
IT ISN'T RAINING TODAY.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Speaking of friends, I just had a Facebook message from a high school friend. Chris and I lost touch around 1992 and I feared she was mad at me about something. Her message is about how much she's looking forward to reconnecting at our 50th reunion Friday evening. Makes my day!

Thanks, DR JRand! I'm looking forward to it, because I haven't been to a reunion since our 10th. That was before Richard and I were married.

I've never been to any of my high school reunions. ::)
I heard last night that a friend had been taken off life support and then this morning that she had passed away. Ruthy was more of a friend of friends (we knew a lot of the same people), but she was always a great storyteller and fun to be with.
After lunch, I called a mutual friend to express my sympathies and she hadn’t heard the news. She did tell me that Ruthy had gone into the hospital a few weeks ago for heart tests. While there she developed pneumonia, which must have proven fatal.

I'd recommend doing all of the above, just to be safe.

I'm so sorry, John. My condolences to you and to her family.
John, I'm so sorry to hear your terrible news. Condolences to all her family and friends.

Where can I see the Ken Russell thing?
This is fun:
A mother and her son are standing on a grocery store checkout line. The boy had opened his box of Animal Crackers and was carefully examining each one:
Mother: What are you doing honey?
Little Boy: I’m looking for the seal.
Mother: Why are you doing that?
Little Boy: You told me never to eat them if the seal was broken.
Where can I see the Ken Russell thing?
Time to head to the theater. I need to go to the silver store first to get a larger ring for the actor playing Emmett. I'm sure I can just exchange what I got yesterday and pay the difference.
Be back later.

Listening to music but may watch something. I've written up about ten perks so far and have to figure out the rest.

Unless I'm misunderstanding, you see more of the Alan Bates thing than any thing.
The Alan Bates thing is always worth seeing.
The smoke was so thick today, that it hurt to be outside.
