I didn't have the patience for a plot tonight, so I'm watching Bernstein's Mass, which has been sitting in the to-watch stack for way too long.

Some wonderful singing, including Fred's friend, Jan Horvath, Anika Noni Rose and Kevin Anderson.

I did a dry run sans singing of the new musical, cueing the tracks in the right places. I sang along with no real voice just to go over the lyrics. I did okay today, but it seems around this time of the evening is when the clearing of the throat starts doing its thing - it's so weird. So, I'm trying my best not to but it's really hard. I've been listening to music (pulled out some more CDs from boxes. I think I may try and watch this Ken Russell Delius film.

Didn't know Ken Russell did a Delius film. Is that the name, Delius?

Didn't know Ken Russell did a Delius film. Is that the name, Delius?

Just finished Song of Summer - it's great and was written by the fellow who helped Delius in the last years of his life. And that music. Must listen to some now.

I have been soooooo good tonight, not clearing my throat. Let us hope I can stick to that until bedtime. I just finished to listening to one of the best albums ever - I'd forgotten how perfect it is - Jazz Sebastien Bach by the Swingle Singers - thirty-two sublime minutes - my CD is that long, but Phillips reissued it a few years later and included the sequel Bach album so you can get both for ridiculously low prices on Amazon. They are the berries.
