Excellent points Jeanne and Cillaliz

I blame the insurance companies for a lot of the problems with the healthcare system.

WE need to emphasis preventative care more.

Jeanne, the government running anything makes me uneasy.

OK, now I'm really confused.  What???  ??? ??? ???

Yesterday I asked you "What do I get?" - and there is the missed opportunity.

Tennessee Ernie Ford did give Frances a bouquet of lovely flowers on the steps of the Veteran's Hospital in Indy back in 1958.  And as she said...."for no earthly reason"....she was there to get them.  ;D

I used my DD discount to buy both volumes of THE TIME TUNNEL.

Is one volume of VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA better than the others?

I am attending a mandatory all-day training session tomorrow on How To Be A Better Customer Service Representative.

It's called "Knock Your Socks Off" training.

I've got someone coming here to pick up 100 Une Chambre En Ville CDs - supposed to be here at twelve-thirty - however, these people are notoriously late, so we'll see.

I may also have good news for the folks who wanted the Kritzer CD (the all on one properly mastered version, with the improved and fixed Kritzer Time sound) - I'll be hearing the master today, and if it's approved I'll let you know when it can be purchased - it will be a really nominal charge just to cover the actual costs.

Got a big amazon order today - but as I look at their stock, I'm not sure why they need this many more.

There was a short In-Between bumper on TCM last night that made me incredulous and then furious.

Some guy is SMASHING music into movies.....the example they used was LOGAN'S RUN.  He puts different music from CD under scenes...and was talking all about "character" and decisions he makes concerning the content of a film or scene.

He does this live in LA.....outrageous!

Glad you like Une Chambre En Ville - I listen to it quite often.

The song clip I liked most, is currently my favorite track:

"La Chambre de Hotel."   ;D

I thought it was a quiet little film, but the photos in the booklet make it look like a big production!  :D

Congrats to DR SINGDAW on his resolve to be the most buff Puritan in the clan.

Puritan in the Buff, that's the title of my next cabaret.

My those Puritans certainly were buff, weren't they?    8)

And probably smelled to high heaven since no one bathed then.

I am in Ohio; I ran into my copusin Jennifer by sheer chance and we have a dinner date for Thursday evening. Maddie and  Max were thrilled to see me. Everyojne else is at work.  I'm ready for a nap.
