JLS should have received an Oscar for song score IMHO.

I so agree!  It's a gorgeous score, supplemented by Lee Holdridge's contributions.

FJL GOOD LUCK!  even if you don't need the walker to get there, you might for the walk home, depending what he does to your during the exam.

originally i only said, what he does to you.  Fearing the repercussions of such a statement i decided to include the extra words, even though they involved more typing on my part. ;D

And speaking of Mr. Schwartz, I'm supposed to see The Baker's Wife this weekend at the York.  I worked on the version of this show prior to this "final" revision, so it will be interesting to see what has changed and what has not.  And even though the solo numbers are quite wonderful, I'm particularly looking forward to the ensemble numbers.

why would i want to watch a musical about a guy i can't stand and do my best to avoid. ;D

I never watched "The Jerry Springer Show" but I bought the region 2 PAL DVD of Jerry Springer: The Opera[/u] from England (and right now, it's only £3.97...80% off!).  I actually liked it.  It's different.  I didn't know what to expect, but I could accept it for what it was and I had a good time watching it. :)

Hello, Dear François!!! My work here is done. I'm about to go home and I have my fingers crossed that I won't be coming in tomorrow morning. It looks like we snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. How, I'll never know.

Later, gaters.

I love the picture of Ozman's kangaroo!!!

Is there some double-entendre in this statement?.... because I remember seeing more than one kangaroo! ;)

Congrats on your success!

I spent most of my viewing afternoon with CSI: MIAMI. I'm guessing I watched three more episodes including one with Jonathan Togo providing commentary. He sounds like quite the kidder and cut-up.

Among the episodes I watched was last year's infamous one about a decapitation that occurred during a street race.

I also watched last night's episode of THE OFFICE. Very funny with some good lines. I do so love these characters, and I loved the moent in the restaurant when the waiter made a pass at Pam, and Jim put his arm around her. Fans have waited four years for this relationship to happen, and I'm SO glad the writers decided to go there this season.

I also had time to skim quickly through today's AS THE WORLD TURNS. No gay characters, but they did show up in previews for next week.

Back from a lunch of dim sum.

Yum.  And no more for me in the near future, thanks a bunch.

I've not had dim sum in a long time, and it was very tasty...but very bad for my diet.

TOD:

DVD - The Wild Party - a very entertaining film, with a short interview with close personal friend of DR EDISAURUS, James Ivory.  I enjoyed the production very much (the Raquel Welch incident was not mentioned)....no commentary

Interesting. I wonder if he was just joking about using that as a DVD extra? I certainly believed him! (Of course, we'd had a bit to drink...)

My boss is due back next Thursday from her montlong sojourn into Argentina and Peru.

Her first day back, should she choose to return "on" that date, will see us going out to lunch at a fancy schmancy restauarant at Jack London Square (Kinkaid's) to fete our two departing co-workers, followed at 3 p.m. with a cake/coffee farewell for the agency to say goodbye to them.

Sigh.

My boss, should she come in that day and be well, will not be happy at all the next day -- Friday.  And I'm taking that day OFF!

He gave me a regime of soaking my foot in cold, than warm water, for an alternating series of minutes.  I’m to try and take it easy.  I return on the 1st for an ultra-sound which he will compare to the x-rays.

You put your left foot in
You pull your left foot out
You put your left foot in
And you swish it all about.

Do the soakey, soakey
And just hope you don't have gout
That's what it's all about!

Is that a euphemism?

(Hey!  If DR singdaw is gonna be E&T, somebody has to ask it!)

Quite right, Ron. Does that make you Singdaw's stand-in? A Sing-in? (Someone here can do better than I'm doing, certainly!)
