Yes, DR George, I'm on the PETER PAN list - thanks!

Great!  Thanks, Ginny!

Okay, I must apologize, but I lost my list of those who wanted a DVD copy of "Peter Pan Live!"  If I remember correctly, I had these people:  Ginny John, Laura, and Vixmom.  Please confirm with me (on the board or privately) if these are correct or not.  Would anyone else like a copy?  Please let me know.  I don't want anyone left out.

Thanks. :)

Yes, please.

And thank you, John!

DR Jeanne thanks for all the detail, especially regarding lenders.  I was actually referring to your experience of going from a lovely east coast home to Los Angeles with all the noise and high cost of homes.  I have been under the impression that you gave up trying to find something.

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  Today was Mom's moving day and it went more smoothly than any of us imagined.  My sister and I are exhausted and have crashed for today.  Brother-in-law and niece were finishing up a couple of details at the new place and will also crash.  Tomorrow we'll finish up in the old place and, I hope, turn in the keys by the end of the day.

Wonderful!!!!  May your mother be happy in her new environment and things go smoothly!

Had lunch - a patty melt with no fries or onion rings - picked up one package, then came home and re-typed all the liner notes from Classical B'way for our new release of it.  I was originally having someone else re-type but I found so many typos and silly errors that it was just easier for me to do it.  But it took two hours.

I also enjoyed reading DR CILLA LIZ's post yesterday about her client......you do good work!!

Thanks.  I don't talk about it much but I love working with people from all over the world and people who really need help.  I could be a rich lawyer, but instead I'm a happy one. I'll take happy any day of the week

You can't beat happy in your work, plus supporting yourself doing it.

I'm going to take a short nap before going out to dinner with (just) Richard and for a drive through Light Up Middletown at Sunset Park.

It sounds like a very pretty drive.

i am niow oin my MacboobThe afternoon has been a nightmare.  My computer died around 3:00pm, and I am now on my Macbook.  My Macman is in London until Dec. 27th so the soonest he can try to repair the hard drive is on the 28th.  So, I will be crabby until then.  Since my last back yp was on Dec. 6, I will lose the last 10 days of work. Damnation.

A couple of nights ago, I downloaded a program that can burn different kinds of video files to a DVD and make it playable!  I was able to burn some YouTube videos to one disc.  It's pretty cool!  Now, I'm going to try burning a whole show (covertly downloaded ;) ) onto a disc.  I don't know the limitations of the program...for instance, if the program will automatically fit larger file sizes onto a limited sized disc or not.  I don't know if the files that I have will be a problem.  The two together are only 2.75GB, whereas a DVD is 4.7GB.  We'll see.

Sounds great, George!  I don't think I'd even attempt it--I'm so bad at technical stuff!

Is this the Classic Broadway you're referring to from Bay Cities?

We played "Carol of the Bells" tonight during Advent service. Not my favorite, and my partner in the main melody went home sick. Our organist, who hasn't played bells in 10 years, stepped in. And we did fine. People loved it. There were a few minor glitches, but the congregation didn't know it.
