Hi, DR PennyO!

Hi, DD Sherlock!

Oh... And Hi, DR Jane!

;)

:)  And he gave her his sweet gentle kisses, without needing a treat to bribe him.

I have no idea what show she was on or what this woman is laughing about, but she sure was enjoying herself...

Jane, my head feels better and I've only been dizzy a couple times today.  Much better than yesterday.

Good, I suppose.  I hope the dizziness goes away soon.

We're having a taco party for dinner tonight to celebrate Rob's completion of his first quarter of paramedic classes.  In the next week, he'll do his hospital clinicals and have 1/5 of the program under his belt.

I made myself some chicken, which was excellent.  I'm full now and logey and a little miffed that the now week overdue mail didn't get here today.

It really helped to just draw a line in the sand and say "I have to catch up and nothing new until then"  I was feeling a little stretched too thin.   Tomorrow and Friday are fairly busy, but that's ok

Sometimes you need to do that.  I should go take a nap which I seem to need.  I'm trying not to so all I'm doing is sitting here getting nothing done.

We had a high temperature of 58 degrees today.  It is supposed to warm up to a stunningly uncomfortable 66 degrees on Saturday.

I hate four day work weeks.  They always seem longer than the five day variety.  Tomorrow should be Friday.

I agree totally.  Everyone seems to think they need to cram everything that can wait until next week or should have been done last week into the 4 days after a holiday, insanity!

Just as we were finishing up our taco supper, a doozy of a thunderstorm rolled in and we disconnected our computers for a while.  Things seem to have calmed down for the moment.

Stange and sad news stories on the wire.  First there was the taxi driver in England who drove around shooting people.  12 dead and 25 injured before he committed suicide.

And then there was the fired porn actor who stabbed three other porn actors with a prop sword - killing one.  They ended the story by saying that no famous porn stars were involved.  Gee, does that mean that neither Tom Katt or Dick Willy were injured?

I think the red onion may have been one of the reasons I didn't feel so well over the weekend.  I ate a lot of tuna pasta

So did I.  It is strange, but I don't usually eat red onions.  That is the only thing I can think of that would be giving me such heartburn.  Of course, I am getting older.  I have found that I can no longer eat green peppers wtihout paying the price, either.  And I love green peppers.
