I have tried to watch 3D movies on my TV, not the recent once and the red/green glasses do not work. I have a Panasonic Projection Widescreen (not boasting) and it has texture screen instead of a smooth surface as most tvs have.

However a friend of mine has a polarize (sp?) set similar to the system in the theaters and this seems to work better but not a 100%.

I wonder if having a plasma or LCD makes a difference???

Anyone???

DR Laura have you been tempted to relax in the pond with the fish?

My new ballot arrived today.  I hope I don't mess this one up as well.  I only erased one little bitty error.  I would have thought it wouldn't matter.

I've gone in to trim the water lily leaves; the water is cold!

Here's another photo from my backyard taken just a couple minutes ago:

Is this the Dollars Raised for Laura Defense Fund indicator?

Laura's yard is much more aware than is mine:

The trees know it's fall:

The tomatoes clearly do not!

They'll never ripen in this weather so I guess we do a Fannie Flagg.

DR MBarnum.  We went to Union Creek & then had lunch at Beckie's.  Have you been there?

I don't believe so. I can't even think of where Union Creek is located.

Ah, so you're management, then...?

DR Jose - continued "parenting your parents" vibes!  Be sure to get rid of any cranberries in their kitchen, too...

I didn't realize cranberries were off-limits too, so... Of course, I bought some Cranberry-Pom juice yesterday, and a pack of trail mix granola bars that contain cranberries.  So guess what I've been eating lately?  -Heck, at least I've been consuming lots of anti-oxidants the past couple of days.

Since you're the adult now, Jose, you'll need to keep up your strength.    ;)

Which one, Michael?

My first question for ASK BK day....do you really expect to ENJOY Happy Days The Musical?

I, of course, haven't seen it, but I must (no, really...I must) say that I thoroughly enjoyed the CD. ;D

I guess.  I tried to post a photo and it said the photo something-or-other was full.  It said I could try resizing and posting again.

But the photo was already small-ish.

I was very careful to trash the invalid ballot & keep the good one.  Once I decide which oval to mark in the first section of the ballot I can mail it in & be done with it.  I love mail in voting.

Since I work in County Center, I just go and vote when I get a break.  It only takes about 5 minutes because most people don't want to come downtown and pay parking to vote.

I just got off the phone with a very nice young lady from Geico.  Since I've never rented a car before and I've never driven in snow, I wanted to know if my car insurance covered me when I go to Pittsburgh on the 9th.

I told her that I knew they were dumb questions but I really didn't know the answer.  She said that I was smart because I am covered but most rental places try to sell you insurance you don't need.

It made me feel good.
