TOD:

First BF was Dan A. I was 21 he was 25, he was in the National Guard and also worked as a bus driver. Dan was none too bright and spent most of his time cheating on me, but other then that he was a nice guy. We were off and on for about 2 years.

He still lives in Salem and I have run in to him a number of times over the years...but I have yet to see him sober.  ::)

Sober? You or him?

LOL!

I really want to take a nap right now.  But I also don't want to end up waking up at 3:00am.  Hmm...

Still having these crummy nights - as the sun comes up I feel better.  I do not understand this.  What possible connection can there be to the daylight and my salvitory glands?

 :(

Nighttime just seems to be that way.  I have no idea why.  Is there a difference between your morning medications vs before bed?

I look forward to the morning your post is all about the good night's sleep you had.

I do, and did earlier today - from LGA to 125th Street and St. Nicholas Ave.

Oh, I forgot about PASSION, the other worst show.

John Doyle's demolitions could only improve them.

I'm guessing it has to do with your "cans", and your digestive system doing its thing.

I've got the DVD of "Into the Woods" , and it's a ton of fun.

The score is one of my all-time favorites.

And speaking of Brooklyn... I noticed this sign on the subway station earlier today.  -Thankfully, it was still there when I headed back uptown, and took a picture of it.  ;)

The rest of the signs on the platform have it spelled correctly, "Brighton".  ???

DR elmore - I hope you enjoy(ed) your time at The Met tonight.  And if you don't enjoy the production, hopefully, you'll enjoy Placido Domingo's performance.

And they still go ahead and kill her in the worst show Sondheim ever worked on!

We are very fond of this show.  Of course that may be because Vixdad & I  took both sets of parents to see it when his folks came to see us from England and we have such fond memories of that visit.  Years later Vixdad's Mum sent me the DVD of the original cast and we watch it every year when we set up our tree.  The Vixter loves it too.

We are all liable at a drop of the hat to start singing " Agony!!! Much more painful than YOURS!!!!!!'

Horses for Courses as Tomovoz says
Der Brucer and I love it, too.  It was the first Sondheim musical that I got to see "blind," since we went down to San Diego and scored tickets during it's pre-Broadway Old Globe run.  This was very soon after "No More" and "No One Is Alone" were added.  And, yes, "Agony" was a standout song - I was humming it as we left the theater.  I still do, on occasion.

I'm not in love with the changes made for the revival, but that's just me.

Worst show Sondheim ever worked on?  Not by a long shot.  (We also saw Bounce in DC, so I've got a basis for my opinion.)

Skyways?  Skyways?!?  Harumph!  Here in Philly we get around town the old fashioned way...

...on Segways!

That can't be a recent photo.  Just the other day Craig had a bad fall on the icy stairs at his apartment building.  The hospital said nothing was broken or torn, his ribs & left quad were badly bruised.

Oh...

"We" have a kitty.  Sort of...

Over the weekend, one of the stray cats ended up endearing himself/herself(?) to one of my roommates.  And then another.  They have named her "kitty", and are looking into getting Kitty spayed or neutered, as well as all the necessary shots.  So...

Kitty is still an outdoor cat - and, will most likely stay an outdoor cat - but Kitty will probably head indoors every now and then for a visit.  I think.

I've never been much of a pet person mainly due to the fact that my schedule has never been constant or regular enough for that responsibility.  And the two roomies who endeared themselves to Kitty also have irregular schedules.  So... We shall see.

*Kitty seems to have quite a loud "meow".

First REAL boyfriend would have been when I was 20 and he was a couple years older. His name was Mark.  We met on a St. Patrick's Day and were inseparable for 2 1/2 years.   It didn't end well.

Well...  It's really not so much a "story" as a report.

One young gentleman apparently thought he would be more comfortable not dancing in his dance pants, so he took them off.  At first, we thought he had on a pair of "Grecian underwear" or some other kind of "dance short".  Well...

After the dancers learn the combinations, they are broken down into smaller groups for the dance-callback proper.  When the monitors started to line up everyone, well...

It was one of those situations where everyone was trying to look anywhere but at him - and at each other.  He wasn't naked, but he was dancing in underwear - boxer briefs... Which he "pulled up" on the sides.  Thankfully, he had pinned his number to his chest and not to the hem of shirt.  ::)

Oh, I'm home.  We had an uneventful flight - the best kind - and it was 55 degrees and sunny in Sioux City when I arrived.  I came home and the girls were happy to see me.  We opened the windows and let some fresh air in the house.  It was nice/

Yes. I talked to her before I left. Her cell phone service has a "reply to message" prompt when someone leaves a message, but the reply didn't go through.  She said she's had problems with that and will check on it.   She was here, the girls are fine.

I had an enjoyable morning with my book group.  Since there was a light layer of snow on the road I took Keith's car, leaving him waiting for my return so he could go to the gym.  I decided to go back out with him & hike with Sherlock while he worked out (it is only a 5 min drive between the Y & the hiking trails).

I'm glad it worked out.  I know people who leave food & water if they are only gone for a couple of days.  We have never done that, especially if the cat needs medication.

Oh wait, it is snowing here in Tacoma.

I'm still trying to make sense of this post.  But something tells me otherwise.
