Very happy to read about the successful openings of DRs George and Cason's shows. Much luck with your remaining performances.

And thank you, Matt!

DR MS....if I want to axe you a question, do I have to be pacific?

If MS doesn't know the answer, you can look up the information in the lie-berry.

Good evening all the DRs and H/Ks et al......

I just thought I'd say a little "goodnight" before retiring.  And I have noticed one very glaring omission.....  Oh yes, very glaring...

Why has there not been a single picture posted of dear Boo-key in his Cabaret Emcee costume??  He had to be cute as a lecherous little devil..... and he knows he's gonna get ogled and commented on.  After all, at M & F (when we all had dinner) I told him that he got to have an "honorary" gay card because of his wit and style!

And of course, I'm not asking because I care at all..... It's just that I know that dear DR Jose would probably like to see the picture..... :)

Sounds like our DR's onstage are in hits!

Well, we're putting on a good show...now, all we need is audiences to find out. ::)

As for Avenue Q - The show is still in good shape.  I had just seen the show again a few months ago, but a couple of new people had joined the company since then, so it was almost like seeing the show anew.  ;)  There are still some small bits of business that I miss - they made some tweaks after the Vegas and London openings - but, all in all, a good show tonight.

And DR MBarnum liked it too!

I meant to mention something about the other night's NYC HHW gathering.  It is a slightly surreal experience, at least for me, meeting people in person that you feel you already know from online.  Those I had not already met I recognized instantly from their avatars [or, in DR Rodzinksi's case, from previously posted photos from other gatherings!].  In any case, the feeling soon vanishes, as the folks turn out to be pretty much what you'd expect from getting to know them online - wonderful, talented, outgoing, and warm that they are!  :)

This is very true!!  I totally felt comfortable with Jeff (JMK, and his DW Betsy), Jane (and her DH Keith) and Michael (MBarnum) the first time that we all met in person.

Just got the BEST news - out of all the e-mail addresses in the country MINE has been chosen and I won 900,000 Euros.  I've sent them my complete information including my bank account number, and all my credit card numbers, and I guess I can expect those 900,000 Euros to be in my account any day now.

Congratulations, BK!!  Now you can bankroll the Broadway production of The Brain from Planet X all by yourself!

And here we have 29,000 postings!

Now, let's have us a frenzy or five, shall we?

Congrats on 29,000 Posts, BK!  Sorry I wasn't here when it happened, I was near the end of the first act of "Taming of the Shrew" and was probably on stage at that point in time.

Jane, those were great pictures of Sherlock!  I remember other pictures of him when he was much younger...and smaller...and boy, has he grown!  My aunt, who's visiting for two weeks (starting tomorrow!) from California, is a nun and at her nunnery, they've always had St. Bernards!  Now, those are some big dogs!

I've spent the last hour putting stuff on our NYMF public page.  Check it out.  I'll add more as we hire more people.

That's pretty cool, BK, but did you notice that Zubrick is misspelled as "Zurick" in the synopsis at the top of the page? ::)

Today's mid-day movie here is "My Louisiana Sky".  The writer received a Humanitus award for the writing.  The same writer has won this year's award!  I know that will mean something to a few DRs. Wow!

Great news for Panni/Maria/Anna!  Here's what it says on the HUMANITAS website:

Children's Live Action Category ($25,000)
MOLLY: An American Girl on the Home Front Teleplay by: Anna Sandor (Disney Channel)
Set in 1943, when Emily, a young girl from war-torn Britain, comes to live with the
McIntire family, Molly is forced to confront the ugly reality of war. Cited "for its
sensitive exploration of the pain and suffering that comes with war in the families left behind
."

What do we all think of Andrea McArdle and do we think she might be good as the wife in The Brain?

I love Andrea McArdle (except in that YouTube clip of her in Gypsy ::) ...but it really was the director and/or choreographer who made bad decisions)!
