I fear I am planning this jaunt to L.A. within an inch of its life.   But I'm having fun doing it.

Detail-oriented, or obsessive-compulsive, you be the judge.  :)

I want more of that pasta I had yesterday.  I shall try to refrain, however, oh, yes, I shall try to refrain.

So here's the verse (could be worse):

Faralle with chicken, tomato, pancetta and peas,
Roasted Garlic-Parmesan Cream sauce, oh please!

I'll finish with Tiramisu,
What about you?

Can BK add the refain, or would that be a pain?

Former Presidents Bush, Clinton Win Liberty Medal
Thursday , October 05, 2006
Quote
PHILADELPHIA — Former presidents George H.W. Bush and Bill Clinton, who put politics aside to help raise more than $1 billion for disaster relief efforts, received the 2006 Liberty Medal on Thursday night.
..,
Six recipients of the medal have subsequently won the Nobel Peace Prize.

Imagine - Clinton/Bush as joint Nobel Preace Prize recipients - something to irritate just about anybody!

DR jhvw - Good to know that you got to sleep in this morning.  So... Just remember... Head up 8th Ave to 52nd... Turn left... Go past the Post Office... And you'll be "there".  -And if you take a left on 51st, there are a couple more "theres" there too.

;D

If this were the late 1980's, I might suggest the Town House, but I don't know what that's like these days.

They don't have a Web site, just map links.

Our friend Rick plays piano and (I think) leads sing-alongs at the Town House, and he says they still get a very nice crowd there, though.

Well, it depends on if JHVW enjoys the company of "older" gentlemen.

I, myself, have not been to the Townhouse in years but from what I hear it hasn't changed much.

They do have a Web site so you can check yourself.
