After dinner, Baayork and I ended up taking the A Train together back uptown.  And while on the train we ran into another mutual friend, Max, so there was plenty more catching up to do.  And it turns out that Max lives just four blocks from me!  "Howdy, neighbor!"  -So, hopefully we'll be able to catch up a bit more later too.

All in all, it was a wonderful day and evening.

*And as we settled the check, the waitress at La Madeleine... "Oh! I thought that was you Miss Lee!  I'll tell you what -  Next time you're in, the champagne is on me!"  :)

So, DR elmore - When do you want to get your free champagne?  ;)

As soon as I sober up from my two margaritas tonight!

I wish MBarnum would return and tell us all is well.

I guess all is well. The gas man came and left, without so much as a sayonara.

The addition of Nathan Fillion (who I love) was almost enough to make me start watching DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, but  not quite.

I still watch, but Nathan PLUS the addition of a gay couple to Wisteria Lane (one of whom is the ever-adorable and funny Tuc Watkins) would DEFINITELY have changed my mind if I had stopped watching.

I got all of the other bonus features on the MALA NOCHE DVD watched. This included a long (over an hour), indulgent documentary on poet Walt Curtis who wrote the original book that Van Sant based the screenplay on. Filled with pornographic poetry, tours of Portland, Oregon, original artwork (penis-based). Ah, the avant garde!

I did get around to the season two premiere of DEXTER, and it was just wonderful. How quickly they've drawn me right back into the story with the noose twisting ever-tighter for Dexter.

Enjoyed the second episode of CHUCK tonight. Really enjoy the cast so much

, but I wasn't quite so sold on the female agent beating up my CIA dreamboat Adam Baldwin.

Are there any computer geniuses online tonight.  I created a poster for Catholic Community Services today.  They asked me if I could e-mail them a copy.

However, I have no idea how to change it to a program they could look at,except possibly a JPG, which I think will distort it.  Any way to change a poster program to a document that I could e-mail?

Yes! Yes! Yes! I love Baayork!  Le's do Chez Napoleon for their fantastic glace maron dessert!

I schlepped your birthday present around today, DR Jose!

Ooohhh... Well... What are you doing tomorrow?

*Although, Baayork is currently directing a show down at the SoHo Playhouse:

Greetings from Yorkville

This was a project that Thommie Walsh had been working on for a while before he died earlier this year, and Baayork has stepped in to get it ready for it's off-Broadway debut.  She invited me to see the show either Wednesday night (which is their press night) or Thursday night (which is their Opening Night (complete with party).  Would you like to go either night?  -Or even later in the run?

HEROES was another great episode, but like several others here, I haven't warmed to the new Panama-based heroes (yet). (Or was it Honduras?) LOVE the Peter Petrelli story.

And I thought JOURNEYMAN was sensational tonight. Wonderful story back in time (and easier to follow than last week's tale). For me, this one will be a keeper if it continues to hook me in the upcoming weeks like it did tonight.

Wednesday's out: Noel's show and a birthday party.

Hmm... Is there any sort of "Save As" option from the File Menu?

Are you on a Mac or PC?

There is a Save as, but it only will save it as a poster file sig, which I doubt the Pope can open.
