Tuesday morning greetings!  Glad to see that DRs Elmore and Ron both arrived home safely last night.

I received a phone call early this mornng from the Library's insurance mediator informing me that she'd been informed that Anthem has finally processed the 5-figure bill for my June hospital stay.  Happy New Year to Me!

Today I'm going to do our New Year's grocery shopping - my life is almost as exciting as DR Elmore's!

We're expecting DS Rob and DG Mary Linda back from Michigan tomorrow.  Thursday evening some of their UC Bearcat friends will join us here for an Orange Bowl viewing party, so I'm going to make several of my favorite appetizers and a crock pot full of chili.  Go 'Cats!

Today my niece is coming home from her xmas vacation. She has been gone for 5 days. I think that is the longest i have not seen her since she was born.

She barely even wanted to talk to me on the phone. Only yesterday she was sort of upset telling me she broke her menorah (my sis left it with her for 2 minutes and she pulled something under it off the table and broke off 2 of the dreidels). :(

Hopefully they can be glued back on.

DR Ginny - that is such great news about the medical bill.

I'm so excited for you as your whole life opens up into infinite new possibilities!

Good morning!

Back to spring! It's gorgeous outside and going into the 60s today. It was a little nippy this morning (as it should be in late December), but the high will feel good and may allow me to sit on the porch for a bit.

As I mentioned last night, I'll be joining Holly Golightly today by having BREAKFAST AT TIFFANYS. As this is probably my favorite romantic comedy ever, I'm really looking forward to seeing it again.

There are a bunch of bonus features on the second disc in the set, several of them new so since the movie is close to two hours, I doubt I'll get everything watched this afternoon.

I'm planning tonight to rewatch portions of FANTASIA. I have a very hard time making it through the whole thing even though all of the segments are wonderful, just difficult to sit though at one sitting for me. (Didn't used to be this way, but the last time I tried to see it from beginning to end, I nodded off during the "Pastoral Symphony"and woke up during "Ave Maria.")
