Hooray for Bollywood
That screwy Bollyhooey Bollywood
Where even in a bloody horror movie
The songs are groovy
And dancing goes on for days
With stars like Helen the tix are sellin'
With Bollywood the public just pays and pays

Maybe...if the rest of the ensemble matches.

Kerry, I had a headache most of yesterday, so I was predicting rain. The sidewalk is wet now, so I guess we were right.

And the word of the day is: ABROGATE!

During the days of segregation, it was common to find houses with a white gate and A BRO GATE (located towards the back of the house, of course).  These days, thankfully, segregation isn't legal.

There's a bartender at a restaurant here in Rehoboth whose hair matches those shoes.

Well, not the heels, but the rest of the shoes.

Honest!

That meeting that I was supposed to attend yesterday didn't get attended to.

Apparently, I'm not the only one who missed the meeting.  Serves 'em right, given the short notice that we were given, and that most of us billing clerks have Monday and Tuesday off and wouldn't have read the email (which was sent on Monday) until yesterday.

Sometimes, I have to wonder about the people who set up these things.

Le sigh.

Der Brucer is now in trouble.

He's given me the web address for DVD Planet.

As if my having the address for Jessica's Biscuit wasn't trouble enough.

I've never been to New Orleans.

It would be a nice place to visit, to see the sights and overeat.

But I don't want to go there during Mardi Gras - I really really really (that's a trio) don't like crowds.

Something occurred to me yesterday.

For the first time in my life, I am older than the President of the United States.

Time for a quick poll:

During whose administration were you first older than the President?

(Just asking.)

Me, anche!

It's sort of silly, but I've been thinking of going to Italy ever since that episode of EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND in which they visit Rome.

There was this barely audible, but incredibly irritating, buzzing noise in my office this morning.  It was driving me insane.  It seems to have gone, which is good because I was ready to kill someone.

Good morning, all! This is a day with nothing new to report. I did finish the adjustments to Brent Barrett's orchestration and I'll take a break today to look it over and be sure I've crossed every T and dotted every i.  Today's mostly a Frank Loesser day but i have to finish the edits on the funny "Song of the Poet" before I can begin. I've also got to call Time Warner Cable to make sense of their latest communication concerning several URL addresses.

I worked on Brent's chart until 9:15 last night, got some dinner and watched TOP CHEF, which got me thinking: does the show deliberately sabotage their contestants by sendng them to a kitchen space with non-working equipment? I was wondering this when I was thinking about all the money put out for supplies, food, etc., and a space they publicly call atttention to that turns out to have an unreliable kitchen!

TOD: Europe; I've got as far as London, and I'd love to see more of the UK - particularly Jane Austen territory and Aldeburgh, Edinburgh, and Dublin - but i never crossed the channel and I would like to see several European cities before my limnited time becoems terminal.

Be careful: you're turning into a Madwoman of New Jersey!

Chatter chatter chatter there are voices in my pantry
That are wishing me a hearty appetite
Gurgle gurgle gurgle there are voices in my tea pot
With advice for housewives
