Relatively breezy day at St. Margaret's Hospital:  my blood work was taken on time - 9:20am appointment - then they told me to head on over to radiology where my appointment was scheduled for 12:15pm.  Radiology took me right away, I barely had time to finish a chapter in APE HOUSE, where they offered me ten choices of flavors for the barium beverage.  I elected to try the cappuccino flavored, which were tasty if chalky.  Then, to let the barium pass through, I got to sit and snooze for the next hour and a half.
The CAT scan was most interesting.   No felines were involved.  The sensations which the dye provided were accurately described to me by the technician.  Boy, did he have those sensation descriptions down to a tee!
I'm ready for nap time, however, and the barium after effects are nothing to be sneezed at.  ;)

That's my plan, though I do have photos from last night to get printed today - Mum had her 60th Year Class Reunion last night. . .

DR vixmom - After your typical work week, you deserve a few hours of unproductiveness!

Hello all,

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.
And I'm glad the cat scan is over TD, and hope you can just relax and get some sleep this afternoon.  Vibes to you!

I'm in rehearsal right now, watching the dancers.  I wish I could dance like they do.

I've been working non-stop on our next release - doing the track titles was fun, but really time-consuming because I had to keep going back and forth between the edit road map, the tracks themselves, the pressbook for the film (I'm using ideas from their PR stories for some of the titles), and it just took forever.  Then I had a quick lunch of matzo brei and a bagel and then did some errands and whatnot, and am now back and starting the liner notes.  Not my favorite way to spend a Saturday, but it must be done.  I also must do the jog in about an hour.

Just posted on my Facebook wall:

Dear Bruce, comments fail me. i am shattered. i just listened to SUGAR'S reincarnation. Jule Styne and Bob Merrill's music and lyrics like never heard before. The sound " What heart and brilliance." a genius undertaking. no one and i mean no one will ever touch Jule Styne's exuberance and beat. This was and remains my most personal happiest moments on a stage. And to be associated with that cast and Jule and Merrill and Gower. and now to hear the astounding re-mix ..thank you for making it seem live and as if i were there ....so touched MOST SINCERELY ROBERT MORSE
