Continued vibes for DR MIKE.

DR ELMORE - perhaps the 1000-year-old Goddess Xtabay from DR MBARNUM's poster yesterday is in your oven.  Hang a crucifix on the door handle for a day or so and see what happens.

One of the funnier comments I've seen this morning in the aftermath of the Emmy nominations is USAToday reacting in horror that Carrie Underwood did not get nominated for "Sound of Music."

Thanks, Cillaliz, for the report on "Silkworm." I have a reservation for it on disc at the library. But first I have 14 discs of "Barnaby Rudge" to get through.

I was always suspicious that I'd be arrested if I ever called anyone and asked if their refrigerator was running....or if they had Prince Albert in a can.

You've never really been in, have you?

And isn't "Trouble" your "other" middle name?

Thursday morning greetings!  No sign of the electricians again this morning, so Richard has left a message asking them to call us.  They've left several small things undone and some of their equipment and supplies are still here - in the middle of our living room floor.

Carrie Underwood did not get nominated for "Sound of Music."

That is a scandal of the HIGHEST order. I hope the powers that be are investigating forthwith.

Funny, DR Ginny - we are looking for ours, this morning, as well!      :P

This is so frustrating, because our bedroom painting project is stalled while we wait for them.  And, at this rate, they will overlap with the plumber - assuming she shows up tomorrow...

I've been thinking about The Silkworm since I finished it.  I didn't like it as well the first one.  I think it could have ended  a lot sooner and been better, but I love the characters and am looking forward to the next installment.
