Well, you've read the notes, the notes were busy, and now it is time for you to post until the busy cows come home.

And vibes for the rest of us!

To DR Elmore, for financial resolution.

And even to myself, for not-terrible news upon taking a kitty with kidney disease (who is generally doing very well) for a six-month checkup at the vet today.

Good morning, all! I slept really poorly, but i am up and ready for physical therapy.

My bank account is almost back to normal: the company on whom the fraudulent charges were made has indeed credited the full amount. Now I need to fight with my bank for the refund of the overdrawn fees. When that comes through, I still have very little but it's much better than it was yesterday.

So, now it's back to the regular mess: cleaning out an office, looking for work, living on a low fixed income until the work occurs. I never wanted to be wealthy, simply to have enough that if i wanted to join friends for brunch i could afford to, and not debate that and groceries or the rent.

TOD

I could talk forever about (1) how bad I usually am, (2) how good I sometimes am, and (3) how great at it I'd really like to be -- and indeed could be, if I put my mind and energies toward it...  but it would bore you all to tears!

I will know more about the TOD since I am just about to leave for the store to shop with my sister.

I have not been to the new Aldi's location....so it will be sort of an adventure.

TOD:

Celery
Bananas -- for the bird, not for me
Apples
Whatever else is seasonal

I don't eat a lot of processed foods, but I always have plenty of pickled items in the fridge to snack on, so olives, artichoke hearts, beets, eggplants, peppers, hearts of palm, beans, okra, carrots and various styles of cucumbers.
