VERONICA MARS had a couple of nifty twists in the stories tonight. Really enjoyed the episode, and it was fun getting to see it "live" for a change.

Nope, no Rosie O'Donnell on nip/tuck tonight, but there was certainly interesting (and unknown  to me) backstory on Sean tonight. Who knew?

I simply could not watch the surgery at the end of the episode. I kept turning my eyes away throughout.

So, I'll have BOSTON LEGAL tomorrow and HELP ME HELP YOU to watch.

Then, it'll be ABBOTT AND COSTELLO IN HOLLYWOOD. I've got ON AN ISLAND WITH YOU and KNIGHTS OF THE ROUND TABLE lined up to be recorded over the next day or two as well. I've never seen either of them.

So, I'm heading down to bed now. With the heat finally turned on, I'm expecting a more restful night.

Good night!

I am now in the midst of painting the new house. She was critical of my colors, (they weren't all beige) but I just said "Mom, it's my house...my colors". I think she'll like it when she sees the finished project.

Just so the colors go with the Avocado appliances.

I'm back - another long day, and I never had time to eat anything, so I just wolfed down a bit of food and now must sit on my couch like so much fish.

MusicGuy, thank you for your touching words re the book.  Please write a review on amazon, because I love the way you put things.

Shayne is thinking about it.

Thanks BK...... It's now time for me to go fall over for the evening.  It was fun, all through the day, to think about a lot of my old favorite cartoons.

One of the most overlooked, especially in the very earliest incarnation (L.A. area local only) was of course, Time For Beanie.  It wasn't until I was much older that I realized just what a bunch of geniuses made up the creative team.

BK - Did you see the episode where Cecil eye fell off (it was a glued on button), and he just ad libbed his way out of it?  It was great !!

How right are: Bob Clampett, Stan Freberg, bill Scott and Daws Butler (three Emmys). I'm readying a  photo essay to post later.

Greg used to work on a Spanish language puppet show for children called "Salsa". One of the characters, El Monstro, was shaking his head so vigorously that his eye popped off and into the waitress puppet's salad. The puppeteers, who watched monitors as they performed, acted appropriately The waitress screamed hysterically and El Monstro was in a blind panic. It was hilarious, but didn't make the cut. Too scary for little kids, but a great outtake for the wrap party!

As a kid, I loved Thunderbolt the Wonder Colt.  Bob Edmiston, I believe.
