Page Six.

Good night, friends.

Page six came pretty quickly. Now, where in tarnation is page seven?

Today I went to the liquor store  and bought a 3 liter bottle of manischewitz Concord grape wine

Generally I buy a case of four  but they only had 1 bottle in stock

[vixmom]

It’s what we use for communion at church

[vixmom]

Then I went to church and set up for tomorrow

[vixmom]

First Sunday in Advent so changed all the paraments to blue

[vixmom]

Set up the Advent wreath

[vixmom]

Then I called the local nursery to order wreaths  and roping to decorate the church

[vixmom]

We’re not doing the greening if the church until the 11th and I won’t actually be participating because I’ll be in Maryland with a couple of friends that weekend

The nursery lady asked me to come down to select the greenery

[vixmom]

So I popped over there and she pulled the wreaths and roping I chose and put them aside until we’re ready to take them in a couple of weeks

The ONLY reason I get it is because they require a drink minimum to get the Happy Hour food prices.

I gather the savings is worth it.

Actually, I'm not sure.  I didn't play attention to the "regular" price versus the discounted price to see if it was more than $4.50.  If not, I'll just play the regular price.

Kind of a quiet evening on television tonight.

I am not a gadabout like DR GEORGE.....so I pass my time here in my house.

DR singdaw I have lived in this town practically all my life - so my connections are plentiful.

And of course now that I am rich with my B I G inheritance - I plan on taking my revenge on all those who wronged me in high school.

But since I haven't moved the play will have to be called The Non-Visit.....

Raining here tonight and more rain for tomorrow.

But temps in the 40's and 50's for the next few days will be great.

Perhaps I'll get my car back this week.....

Many houses are being lit up with outdoor lights and figures....it looks very nice.

I do however miss my favorite outdoor figure that used to be put up every year about two streets over.

He was the drunk wise man......his two friends stayed standing up steady and strong.....but at least three nights a week he was down on the ground with his feet in the air.

He never did stand up straight - but when he was lit up and lying on the ground it was always worth a trip in the car to go check him out.  I think it was Melchior.

Now NONE of the wise men are put out at that house.....perhaps they have retired.

I have been told on Facebook in no uncertain terms that a couch or sofa that is over six feet long is a DAVENPORT.....

Will someone ask Tiler Peck what she thinks about that?
