TOD: I'm sure there will be many postings throughout the day as more and more lyrics come to mind. I love all the examples cited so far. The first to come to mind is from "Do I Hear a Waltz?'s" (now there's some awkward grammar) "We Gonna Be All Right":

They both go right to bed
When they feel intellectual

It's a line that he forgot to include in "Finishing the Hat" but it's on two recordings I have.

Thursday morning greetings from southbound I-75!  Richard and I are on a bus trip to the World Choir Games with our local senior center.  There is every possibility that I'm the youngest person in this group.

Why don't we ever discuss things like the worst lyrics Sondheim ever wrote? From the attitude of the "cult" and THE SONDHEIM REVIEW, wherein even the worst high school production of a Sondheim show smacks of High Art, I don't know how he had time to work in musical theatre, what with inventing the McCormick Reaper, digging the Panama Canal, and creating the world in six days! You just know those REVIEW editors believe he did it in five and took the last day to finesse things. ;)

Did the driver on the bus tell you to move on back?

We're almost to the Aronoff Center where we'll spend the morning watching show choir performances.

"several developing situations"

Does that mean the fresh hell has reported for duty?

Morning all!  I as very tired last night.  One of the meds I was taking said it could make you drowsy well, it sure did.

Think I figured out what caused it--the shake called Glucerna.  I thought it would be good for me because of the diabetes but when I read up on it last night, it is know to cause hives, horrible gas, stomach pains, diarrhea and swellings.  I guess I was lucky I got away with what I did.  Needless to say, I will NOT be drinking it any more!

Happy, Happy, Happy Birthday to our Dear Cilla!!!!!!

Vibes to all and have a wonderful day!

I was wondering if you had eaten something different. Those side effects are crazy!

Today I'm driving out to a couple of Barnes and Nobles to do a little violence on my wallet with some Criterion product (in the 50% off sale).  I say "driving out to" because our one B&N here in town is one of the older smaller ones with no musical or motion picture product on hand.  Can't even get a cup of coffee there.  Today I shall not only have my cup of coffee, I might even try, for my first time, a Sonic Drive-In which we also do not yet have here.  Life in the sticks, brother.

Thanks. I've been wondering when the next wallet rape was going to be.
