It is now:

103 DEGREES

It's 104° in Tumwater! :o

Troublemaker!  When are we going to the show, George?

Whatever night we can get good seats...and not this Friday.

I am surprised that MBarnum isn't coming up to see CATCH ME IF YOU CAN.  After all, Tom Wopat is in it.

Tom Wopat is in it.

That's a compelling reason.

And I assume that Mikey is the reason that Tom Wopat agreed to come to Seattle!

Union meetin'.  Right now, our library has a "staff association," but there have been meetings in the various counties with actual "union" representatives.  Thurston County's meeting is this Friday.  I shall be going.

This reminds me of the latest episode of "Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List" where she supports gay marriage and becomes Norma Gay:

Hello, Mitzi - would that have been a bigger hit than Hello, Dolly?

Sweeny Mitzi maybe?  Or Mitzi Todd?

I guess I'll go check out what's happening on So You Think You Can Dance.

I think I have a cold or a sinus problem. It's going around my family.

It sucked that i decided not to hold the baby. So since she wouldn't take her bottle from anyone else i had to listen to her scream and scream (which made my head hurt worse).

Plus i had to ride in a car with someone who was wearing very strong aftershave. Who puts on aftershave at 4pm when they know they will driving with someone at 5pm who is allergic to perfume????

I walked by this person at 4:30pm and said i would not be able to ride in a car with them and that smell.

Sometimes i could hold my nose or breathe at the window during a car ride. But since i was feeling under the weather i really didn't think i'd be able to endure the car ride.

STupid me for thinking i would arrive at the car and that person would have washed off the smell.

:)

I get in the car, my eyes start to burn, so i get out.

The person then went and washed off the smell as best as they could. So i sucked it up and endured the ride. I guess at least they tried to get most of the smell off. Oy.

There is a company that is going to sell cremation urns fashioned to look like the people whose ashes they carry:

What's with the dried up leaves in that photo? Is it a dead rose? What does that mean?

The head would definitely look better with a tiara.  But then, what doesn't?
