someone really REALLY needs to explain to me why we have fallen so low on postings over the last week.

I am listening to "Naked Boys Singing."
Without posting the heart is a lonely hunter. All will be well for all those who need things to be well - because we are strong, we are invincible, we are HAINSIES/KIMLETS.
Tonight I talked to the son of the man who lives down the street where the boxer (as in dog) lived that I was so concerned about last winter. I asked what happened to the dog and he said that the dog lives with him (the son) in Vermillion, SD now and he's doing really well. I told him I was glad because he was such a nice dog and that I had been worried about him. He thanked me for worrying.

Good Morning!I'm up, I'm up... And I woke up in Toledo, Ohio.*I think that's the first time that's happened to me.
As I was getting off the train, the man sitting next to me, Señor Leo Torres, asked me to take his picture when he got off the train. This is his first time in Chicago - and only for four hours. He started his route taking busses from Monterey, Mexico, to Houston. Then he took the train to Washington, DC, to visit his son for a few days. Since he had never been to New York City before, he then headed up from Union Station to Penn Station to spend a few days in the Big Apple. Then yesterday, he started his long trek back home via Chicago.Even though we didn't talk that much during the trip, I felt humbled that he asked me to take his picture. He was just using a disposable camera, and even though I doubt I will ever see that picture, I'm pretty sure that will be the most memorable photograph that I will have taken during this trip.
