someone really REALLY needs to explain to me why we have fallen so low on postings over the last week.

Well - I, for one, am posting a lot less than normal.   Sorry, but my heart just isn't in it right now.  Doesn't mean I don't love you all!   :)

Wherever he was, and I saw him onstage for the first time in Orlando, Danny Gans was an amazement.

Skip had never been to Vegas, and he remembers Danny Gans' 1990 performance very well.

Gans had done some TV sitcom work before that

I finally got my computer speakers working again.  Not quite sure what the problem was, but glad that I can now enjoy DRs links to YouTube again!

I have shaved.  I will soon shower, and then be on my way to see No Way To Treat A Lady at the Colony Theater.

Tonight I talked to the son of the man who lives down the street where the boxer (as in dog) lived that I was so concerned about last winter.  I asked what happened to the dog and he said that the dog lives with him (the son) in Vermillion, SD now and he's doing really well.  I told him I was glad because he was such a nice dog and that I had been worried about him.  He thanked me for worrying.

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I woke up in Toledo, Ohio.

*I think that's the first time that's happened to me.

This weekend I will do a couple projects in the yard, go through my closet again and purge the big clothes and go shopping at a couple sales so I have something to wear that actually fits me

As I was getting off the train, the man sitting next to me, Señor Leo Torres, asked me to take his picture when he got off the train. This is his first time in Chicago - and only for four hours. He started his route taking busses from Monterey, Mexico, to Houston. Then he took the train to Washington, DC, to visit his son for a few days. Since he had never been to New York City before, he then headed up from Union Station to Penn Station to spend a few days in the Big Apple. Then yesterday, he started his long trek back home via Chicago.

Even though we didn't talk that much during the trip, I felt humbled that he asked me to take his picture. He was just using a disposable camera, and even though I doubt I will ever see that picture, I'm pretty sure that will be the most memorable photograph that I will have taken during this trip.

More memorable than the photo of your ruined chicken with smashed grapes from the dining car?

Back from USC, lunch at Langer's, and a trip to Costco for waters and Diet Coke and Fruity Snacks.

I went to Costco to get a hot dog for lunch.  However, I did not see BK there.
