Okay, someone really REALLY needs to explain to me why we have fallen so low on postings over the last week.  I'm ready, willing, and able to listen, and I want a list of the no-shows so I can bitch-slap them from here to eternity and hell and back.

I am more than willing to take part of the blame for the drop in posts this week.  Between Angel passing away and the long nightly rehearsals, I have spent very little time posting.

I wish that I could say that the worst is over, but we open a week from tonight, and I doubt I will have much free time this week to even check posts.

Quoth BK in the notes:

I must say. I got up and did the long jog, then had to go look at an item. It has become increasingly clear to me that I may need such an item in the very near future for reasons beyond my control. So, I began doing my research for said item and it was very interesting.

Will BK soon be packing heat?

I was thinking a truss.

I went to Costco to get a hot dog for lunch.  However, I did not see BK there.

But did you see fruity snacks??        ;)

DR TCB how are you & Nicky doing?  Sherlock sends you kisses.

Thank you, Jane.  And thank Sherlock for me.  I think Nicky could use a visit from Sherlock.  He is very lonely, and he spends a lot of time wandering from room to room.

You can check here:

But if you are really interested in seeing the show, let me check this weekend.  We are supposed to be getting some kinds of vouchers (2 for 1 maybe?).  I should know more by Monday.  Maybe if it is two for one, you could talk Josh into coming to see the show?

DD Dixie Bell loves the photos of DD Sherlock.  She's offering a squeaky monkey to the computer. . .asking Sherlock to come over and play.

I remember when we hesitated to take a dog with one blue eye.  Now I can't imagine Sherlock any other way & love the two different colored eyes.

Thanks DR Laura.  We finally got a new camera.  I keep meaning to take it hiking with me to practice using it, and to photograph Sherlock running towards me on the trail.  I think I can hold the button down & take multiple shots one after the other.  I should also learn how to use the video.

The Vet and his staff sent me a very sweet card, which I thought was very nice.  What was strange was when I took the card out of the envelope the drawing on the front of the card was of a lovely white kitty, with Angel wings.  I lost it for about an hour.

Had a complete vocal runthrough with Bialy and Leo today.  Our Bialy, Jay Pevney, will be in So Cal next week at a symposium where his father's Joan Crawford film FEMALE ON THE BEACH will be the main event.  I told him he should go onstage with wire hangers stuck in his jacket.

Good night, TCB.

I'm off now, too.  I'm off to to Fred Meyer for some empty CD cases.

Until later.

I was very glad that I spent last weekend watching the bonus features from these X-MEN movies. It saved me hours of time tonight. True, there was still a 2-hour documentary that was on the X-MEN 1.5 DVD set that I never bought, but I had seen most everything else.

My god, these Blu-rays are so interactive, and there is just TOO much content on them. The film and that two hour documentary can be played in "enhanced" form which features branching featurettes on many different subjects that stop the main feature cold and branch off into sideline topics. Thankfully, they also list the branching vignettes so you can watch them separately and not interrupt the flow of the main features you're watching.

I sure wish Universal would release FEMALE ON THE BEACH on DVD. It's one of my favorite campy Crawford flicks, and I don't even have it on DVD-R.

On Blu-ray X-MEN looked very good, but it wasn't as razor sharp as it could have been. The sound was better: the DTS-HD MA 5.1 mix was very effective.
