At least, that was MY experience.

I felt the same way this past weekend watching "The Mummy" and "The Mummy Returns"....both CDs are showcases for the HD DVD format, IMO.

Did anyone else watch FOLLOWING SEAN on PBS last night? I have a vague recollection that this documentary was discussed here a while back but I haven't turned anything up in my searches.

In any case, it is a wonderful piece. A film maker (Ralph Arlyck, who I honestly never heard of before) catches up with a man who he had interviewed as a four year old back in 1969 when they both lived on Haight Ashbury in San Francisco (the original interview was turned into a short film that evidently raised some hoo-ha because of some of they things that they young boy talked about.) The doc traced not only the lives of the grown-up boy and his family but also of the film maker, himself. I was channel hopping and caught it about ten minutes in but I was completely hooked. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's going to be repeated any time soon. I'm going to check to see if it's available on DVD.

I'm about to call the actress for the role of Joyce, although my casting person just called and said he was going to make the offer to her, so I said go ahead. If she wants to do it, let's just say she'll bring some name value to our production - I've also always liked her and I'm sure she'll be fine in the role if she wants to do it.

BK - I'm really looking forward to seeing Brain inbetween all the Starfighter stuff that will be going on that week. I've been enjoying listening to the CD, and I think the score is really terrific. It sounds like the show will be great fun to watch.
