DR Jose, speaking of Canada. I just heard today that supermodel Iman is going to be the host of this Fall's PROJECT RUNWAY CANADA.  I am so so excited about this.

Btw, I actually tried to vote for SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE this week. I got a busy signal so i'm not sure if they are letting calls in from canada (usually i would think it would just say the number does not work from my location). They do for DANCING WITH THE STARS (don't for AMERICAN IDOL).

I have absolutely no desire to work today.

Nor do I, DR MBarnum - let's just drop everything and meet in New York.  Oh, wait, we're planning to do that in 2 weeks  :)

Well, the local Borders was sold out of the soundtrack to Once.

But, I discovered, quite accidentally, that there's a MAGGIE MOO's within a mile from my office building!   :)

And what Creation did you decide to have today?

Resting, perhaps......

I believe the technical term is "refractory period".

Haydn's.  :)

Actually, I was good...I walked right on by.

But I did note the location for future reference!

And on that slightly racy, but medically inclined note, I'm heading out for a bit.  I think some shopping is in order.

BTW, DR Jose, did you agree with who got voted out last night?

(SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE)?

Also, what did you guys think of who America decided to save? (which groups?). Some were sort of interesting.

Let me know if you find it - I had no luck.

Nor did I!  It may be a BBC captured streaming file of a broadcast.

DR Elmore:  Are you/were you/have you ever been a fan of the TV series "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer"?

Don't know about Lar, but, I'm a BUFFY buff!
I know that DR Matt is an ANGEL maven as well.

Or...Janet, Chrissie and Jack!

Which scans just like Mr. Sondheim's "Bobby and Jackie and Jack."

Hmmm....

I know who got asked to leave last night, but I haven't watched all the preliminary stuff yet, so..  Opinions forthcoming.

On that Cole Porter recording, you can even hear him turning the pages as he plays.

Clearly, not what DRs MattH and Edisaurus are enjoying today.

DR Elmore - how can I get a copy of your Jubilee?

Bide your time. ;)

Oh, duh...I guess I didn't notice you changed the title of the post, like I never think of doing.
Don't feel bad, I think that was the first time I ever changed the subject line. . . :o

Bide your time.

 :-*

Now, if I lived in NYC, here's something I'd put on my summer calendar as a regular Thursday evening event:

Madison Square Reads

In fact, assuming our train from DC gets in reasonably on time (how valid an assumption is that?), DH Richard and I might try to make the session on June 28.  We're due into Penn Station at 2:49pm.

Occams' razor?

No, Tom Lehrer's:

Oh, soon we'll be out amid the cold world's strife.
Soon we'll be sliding down the razor blade of life.
But as we go our sordid sep'rate ways,
We shall ne'er forget thee, thou golden college days.

Hearts full of youth,
Hearts full of truth,
Six parts gin to one part vermouth.

Well, I can tell this is going to be a busy day. I'll be out all evening so when I arise tomorrow morning and log in I'll probably have pages and pages to read. Something to do before I get my hair cut and go to the post office.
