Well, you've read the notes, the notes were sorta-kinda, and now it is time for you to post until the sorta-kinda cows come home.
-
And the word of the day is: DISBURSEMENT!
-
George, did you e-mail her? I'm just curious as to whether you'll get a response.
-
First post after BK.

George, did you e-mail her? I'm just curious as to whether you'll get a response.
BK, this is what I wrote:
Hello Benita,
I came across your website and was reading about the musical revue, What If? I’m involved with a local community theater company in Olympia, Washington and was looking for something to suggest to them. What can you tell me about the show? It sounds like a lot of fun. And how might I be able to get a perusal DVD? Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks,
-

Good night, my friends.
-
I guess that that's that.
;)

To answer Tom's question from yesterday about my niece's eggs (Does she eat eggs? Or does she sell them?), she is planning on eating them, but doesn't plan on selling them specifically. She is mostly vegetarian. She'll probably give some to me, and maybe to other family members, depending on how many eggs she gets and how often.
-
And about jan's post, "I meant to say not be guest of honor," I figured that that's what you meant. ;D
-
I'm glad you realized I'm not a pet eater.
-
Although I wouldn't mind some stranger fried chicken right now.
And on that note I will say nighty-night
-
Good night, jan, and good night, too, Tom.
-
And with that, I must also say, "Good night."
Have a good day, all!
-
Thanks, George. Seems like they're done.

Good morning, all!

Another day at the 92nd Street Y. Today the band gets set onstage and wired for sound at 10:00. They're quite goode. We have ob Berman on piano, plus guitar, percussion, drums, and bass. They sound great.
-
The rehearsal yesterday was intense: a lot of music to rehearse and adjust in three hours. I was happy with some of my work. I really screwed up "Ten Minutes Ago" by making the wrong cut. I'm hoping it's now correct. I also had two numbers in need of introductions, and those are now into the parts.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Good morning to all. Been busy with day job and getting the play ready for production.
-
I hope it is going well.
-
The moving Paul Gauguin moving exhibit is brilliant!
-
Good morning
-
Bk do you know the woman who owns that site?
-
I notice it was last updated in 2008
-
Time for my final preparations: water, music, and work kit in bag. I need to check the4 cats' water and food and then finish dressing.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Have a great day at the Y, DR Elmore!
-
BK - Did anyone ever have a right to sign agreements for Kritzerland?
I read it that if anyone had contacted that site about "What If?," it wasn't automatic they could do it, which somehow suggests that was friendly and she would have gotten in touch with you or Kritzerland before any deal could be made.
-
Have a great day at the Y, DR Elmore!
Ad remember, if you run into Valerine Perrine or Caitlyn Jenner in the hot tub at the Y, be on good behavior. :)

Now, how about Pacino at his worst? I nominate Scent of a Woman and scenes from Godfather III.

Hmm, Al Pacino never complained once when we did this "Shylock (to the tune of Skylark)" video tribute way back. Actually, was he ever even on set? :)

I'm up - I'm up - I cannot believe it - she of the Evil Eye came TODAY. I swear she said Friday. Five hours of sleep and I'm not happy. I could have gone to bed earlier but I knew I could sleep in. I honestly don't know how to get through the next few days now and have a voice or anything for an afternoon show on Sunday.
-
I don't think I know the woman from the site - it's fifteen years ago, but I have no memory of this. I would never have given permission to print the lyrics like that and it looks like she pulled them right off the Sondheim site where they all appeared for the first time. And, as I said, I could not have given permission for the use of the songs I didn't write - Billy Barnes, Mary Rodgers, Flaherty and Ahrens.
-
Curiouser and curiouser....
-
But it reads like someone who meant you well rather than meant you ill, that if they got a nibble, they'd intended to come to you, and not just pocket any money illicitly - at least that's how it looked. I know David was working for you in 2005, as he was authorized to be a draftsman for Kritzerland on the "Starfighter" CD; did you have anyone else working for you a few years later, who might have been trying inventive means to get your work out there?
-
We broke for lunch, and I decided to come home. We spent the morning running sounf for the band and then rehearsed all the numbers of Act One and the first two numbers of Act Two. After lunch they were going to begin in the middle of Act One, so I told Rob that the band sounded good - it really does! - amnd they didn't need me this afternoon. I'll go in tomorrow for the afternoon dress.
-
Stella was happy to see me home and be released from her cage. She and Thatch are playing and Annabelle's sleeping in her trash bag. Last night, just before I went to bed, I took a glass to the kitchen and found Annabelle sleeping in the kitchen sink. Her quirks delight me.
-
The drummer for the show must be in his late 30s although he looks like a teenager. He told me yesterday when we met that he had all my Varese Sarabande albums when he was in college.
-
Good afternoon!
-
Nice photo of DR Jane and Keith!

No one was working for me in 2005. If you're talking about David Levy, I think he had the contract template or something. I don't know what any of it means. My memory's pretty good and I know me well enough to know I would not have given permission for this or if I had there would have been many caveats including not printing any of the parody lyrics.

No, no one but me can sign anything regarding Kritzerland. Maybe you know more than I do?
-
Back from a breakfast I didn't even want, and then picking up some packages. Listening to music, praying I do not get sick.
-
Stay well, BK!
-
I was going to go down to the high school to enjoy their annual "Footpath Cafe" jazz evening. The kids are amazing and it's always thoroughly enjoyable. And short! It's like a one-act. But it's going to be yet another crappy thunderstorm-y evening, and rather than drive the thirty miles each way in rain, I'd just as soon relax in front of a good movie or something. I sent the kids my best, and that will be that.

Rehearsal vibes for MR BK & Co.

DR Jrand thank you for sharing the Paris photo. To set the record straight, Keith is behind the camera and I am with our friends.
Bruce do you recognize the guy?
-
The moving Paul Gauguin moving exhibit is brilliant!
Sounds wonderful.
Keith is having a difficult time deciding which video to but on fb as they are all wonderful. I wish I knew how to share one here.
-
Jane, I don't recognize him.
-
Along with it was something similar called "Dreamed Japan".
-
He has our day up on fb. The video is from the Japanese portion since Keith felt it best captured the feel of the experience.
-
Keith's description of our day.
We spent a mesmerizing morning at the Atelier des Lumieres. An amazing digital extravaganza splashed across a huge warehouse-esque walls and floors. The exhibit showcased Van Gogh and 18th-century Japanese art. Terribly unique, totally immersive! The afternoon found us on the Place de la Concord and a stroll through the Tuileries--ultimately ending up at Notre Dame, which is under a state of feverish repair and heavy police presence.
-
Jane, I don't recognize him.
I didn't think you would. It has been a lot of years. It is Ron Baum's younger brother Ricky.
-
Nice photo of DR Jane and Keith!
Thanks except it isn't Keith.

You mean to say you don’t think Calista Flockhart is the greatest Shakespearean actress of the age?
-
Thanks, George!
-
That's Ricky???
Yup ;D
And his wife.
-
Fifty years ago while were were enjoying our rehersal dinner Natalie Wood was in the room next to us, in the same room where the rehearsal had been, marrying her second husband.

I thought the nadir was Michelle Pfeiffer's Titania.

Oops! I was wondering but I just went by what the caption said!
-
Well, that was a bit of a lull. ::)
;)
-
And now, I'm leaving work and heading home. I really need to balance my checkbook. It's been quite a long time since I've done that. I've been checking my balance online, so I know I'm not going to be withdrawn anytime soon, but I need to make sure that nothing's amiss with my account.
Be back later.
-
Back to Act II of South Pacific. Gee, Josh Logan has a lot of scantily clad men in this movie. Who'd a thunk it.
-
Got an odd Texas cookbook from the library yesterday called Thank You for Smoking. It's not just barbecue. The author is smoking lentils, almonds, granola, even the cherries for an Old Fashioned.
-
I'm not going that far, but the recipes look good without the smoke.
-
What's this page 3 malarkey?
-
Work today was no fun again. Constant meetings and changes of long-established stuff. Boring.
-
And I didn't get work done. But I got a lot of work done.
-
Just one of those things. Tomorrow will be more fun.
-
At least there's the symphony tomorrow night.
-
Had fun at the dentist today. He wants to replace an ancient filling. So, I have to go back.
-
I survived the three-hour South Pacific. I think the script went haywire trying to include war scenes. But the movie overall is an effective document of its time.
-
Interesting to see among the credits that Thelma Oliver was one of the "Negro Women."
-
Was she part of Fosse/Verdon?
-
Let's move on ...
-
Four!
-
Hello, jan!
-
Hello, 0 guests!
-
I need to get to bed.
-
Good night, all.
-
People seem to be so happy to see the guests.
-
Well, crap.
-
So, my cell phone screen cracked and I bought a new screen and was able to install it myself.
-
BUT, the ear speaker didn't work...everything else was perfect.
-
I opened it to see if just readjusting it would fix the problem, and when I reassembled it with the new screen, I must have screwed something when I took it apart because the new was completely unuseable!
-
POST #100!
-
I had to reinstall the old broken screen and that still worked, even the ear speaker worked again.
-
So, I reordered ANOTHER new screen that just arrived today.
-
I installed that and the screen part was perfect again...but the ear speaker didn't work AGAIN! :o
-
At least, the speakerphone speaker and the Blutooth headpiece works, but I can't (well, won't) use the speakerphone all the time.
-
I guess I'll need to take it to a professional. :-\
-
Darn.
-
Nice photo of DR Jane and Keith!
Thanks except it isn't Keith.
Oops! I was wondering but I just went by what the caption said!

-
Good morning from Paris. Today we are taki g the metro to Versailles.
-
DR Ginny did you see this story?
https://www.mlive.com/news/ann-arbor/2019/05/china-gate-restaurant-to-close-after-32-years-in-ann-arbor.html
-
Well, I just checked eBay, and I can buy just the ear speaker for only $3.99+tax (and free shipping) and get it by next Wednesday! I'll try that and then if THAT doesn't work, I'll call a professional.
-
You and your phone! Is somewhat trying to tell you not to use a cell phone?
-
Good evening.
-
Page 4? Seriously?
-
We must get busy.
-
We are running out of time.
-
And I think BK will close us down early, so he can get some sleep.
-
Soooooooo, let’s go.
-
Let’s crack the whip.
-
One more.
-
Page 5
-
BK don't need to close us down! Let him sleep while we play.
-
Get your fingers moving folks!
-
BK don't need to close us down! Let him sleep while we play.
And then you can call and wake him up to close the day later?
-
Nah, lets take over this site. This is a coup.
-
Nah, lets take over this site. This is a coup.
Oh gosh no, too much work.
-
Where did George go?
-
And BK is lurking!
-
Hurry up!
-
We are out of time.
-
You're not doin' anything else, just sittin' in a chair. And what's BK gonna do, write a nasty song?
-
UNDERPANTS
-
BK needs his sleep, so he doesn’t get sick before the show
-
And he needs to save his voice.
-
Picky, picky, picky!
-
GEORGE!!
-
Did he go to bed?
-
You and your phone! Is somewhat trying to tell you not to use a cell phone?
Better not be!
-
Where did George go?
I'm here. I had to "go downstairs" for a moment. ;)
