Much thunderstorm activity now and then over the next couple of days. New Jersey even had actual tornado activity last night. Not exactly pleasant for those of us with PTSD from last year’s storm.

The Dayton area had very bad storms, including 3 tornadoes, Monday night. It was way north of us, but we watched the spectacular lightning from the top of our driveway. There are still power outages and water boil advisories throughout Montgomery and Greene Counties and lots of displaced people.

I loved my Pontiac Vibe and hated to give it up, but it was 14 years old and had almost 109,000 miles on it. It was only a matter of time before something major was going to happen and I didn't want to make the new car decision under that kind of pressure. This was the dealership's last 2018 in their inventory, so they were eager enough to get rid of it that I think I got a pretty good deal.
