Monday morning greetings!  Today I have to pick up some prescriptions for my Mother and deliver them to her, work out at the Y, and shop for tonight's dinner with DN Lauren.
Aw the life of a retiree!   They say they don't know what they are going to do with themselves when they retire and when they do, you have to book an appointment to see them!  Thelma and Glenda are both the same way. :)

Hey!  Don't pick on us retirees.  I have two lunches and a P.T appointment scheduled fo this week.
Until I get to join that group, I'm gonna pick.  So there!

DR Danise, so glad to see you posted.  I was concerned watching the Weather Channel.
Eh, what good is it having a good old Tropical Storm on your door step if you still have to go to work. :)  It's not fair.  The North gets snow days!

I'm still fighting with the insurance company to pay me for taking the time off in May.  I can't believe it.  A doctor puts you out saying you are stressed to the limit and the insurance company is able to say, No, you could have been at work.  Who knew?

Not easy to get, especially if you work for the state.  You can't get paid for the day unless the Governor orders all offices closed.  Otherwise, you use your own leave.

I had a strange dream wherein I approached the esteemed BK in a drugstore and said,  "Colin Jacobson s***s dead goats."

Wonder what the Dream O Meter would say about THAT!

Time for me to leave.  Since I got to work early, I get to leave early.  Love how that happens. ;)

Have a good rest of the evening, all!

Thank you.  I found the comment that you can store 20 books to read on the Kindle.  The story never said how many can be stored on the Nook, which I don't know the answer to.  I thought I could store more than 20.

Finished with a long day.  Did the Costco run, which was actually fun, took the helper for a lunch at the Kansas City Barbecue, which is really my favorite barbecue jernt ever (she agreed), then came home.  Worked with Shelly Markham for an hour and got the arrangements done, then the cast came and it's a really good group, and it's lovely having Kim Huber back with us (first time this year).  I'm waiting for my engineer to arrive and then I'll be able to sit on my couch like so much fish.

Once again the notes have been posted on a couple of Blu-ray boards and I'm being canonized for saying it like it is and vilified for saying it like it is.
