On a typical day, between 50-100 people read my Frances debunking essay.  I just went and looked--yesterday it was close to 1,000 and it's already approaching that number today.  If I had nickel for every person who's read that essay I'd probably have $20 or $30 by now.  ;)

Though my virtual fields may wither and my virtual food may rot,
If I leave then for dead
And play Wii instead
I may just end up looking hot!

Back from some errands and whatnot and picking up packages and a meal at the Studio Cafe.  The alarm system is working for the first time since I've moved in.  Now the question is will I use it - I definitely will start using it when I'm gone, but not until they give me the secret code for the response people - if they were to respond to an alarm and I didn't have it, that's big trouble.

the work session was tedious, but we got through the script and now the ball is in the author's court.  I'm sure I'll get pages as he goes, but there will be no more work sessions like today.

The producer of "Hurt Locker" apologized.  I don't think he should be banned from the Oscars.

And now, I'm leaving work (early) to put up some shelves in my newly cleaned TV room so that I can get all (hopefully, all) of my DVDs out of boxes!

Until later. :)

Ginny, I would think you can get a medical release from jury duty.

Yeah, but I'd hate to let DR TCB down!  Actually, my doctor, a former school board member, will probably tell me to do it.

I guess I will just have to accept the fact that you are not perfect.

Last night I took my final dosage of sulpha drugs.  Since they didn't seem to work nearly as well this time around; I am fully expecting the MRSA to be back in about three to four weeks.

I am sure that all of us have higher (and in some cases lower) opinions of our friends here at HHW.  These are locked in our minds until we actually meet face to face.  Still, unless you arrived at my door with a martini in one hand and a fifty cent cigar (burning) in the other; I don't imagine my image of you would be tarnished.

Last November 30, my sister (and co-worker) retired from the State.  In the middle of January, they finally got around to posting for her position.  In the beginning of Februay, they finally scheduled interviews for the candidates; and yesterday my supervisor was finally ready to call and offer the job to his choice.

Guess What?  There is now a hiring freeze on all state jpbs until, at least, July!

Hello, everyone.

Thanks to JMK, Jane, and Jose for the feedback re: rice cookers. It never occurred to me to look for one in an Asian store; I usually shop from Amazon. I am encouraged by the positive feedback and will pursue this.

Today's dental visit uncovered yet another tooth in distress. Somehow my dental to-do list doesn't get any smaller. Sigh.

Sad, especially for the person who wanted/needed the job.

I skimmed quickly through the two soaps today. Nothing of interest on either one though once again Ford and Cris were doing their best to be shirtless for as long as possible. No complaints from me.

I had time tonight to watch two more MATT HOUSTON as I make my way slowly through the set while working on other projects. That's a total of three episodes I got done today making a total of 10 that I've now watched and leaving 13 more to be seen.
