"one and all" with "merciful"... :(

And I'm sure Eric Crozier doesn't care what you think.

Perhaps.  It will be messy.  I bet Lady M, who says she never receives my emails but knows everything about them, is chewing nails as I type this.

I wonder....what would the feasibility be, once you can positively establish "the loan", of imposing interest on the remainder until it is paid off?

:D

I have no urge to promote full-fledged warfare amongst family. I simply want the slob to own up to the deal he made with my father so that I can settle the estate and see that he, my other brother and I receive the payments my dad promised.  He had his reasons for making me executor, the primary one to assure that Randy not get walked over by Macbeth.

Good Afternoon!

Whew!

Back from the laundromat.   I decided to go ahead and head down the block to take care of the backlog of laundry I had to get gone.  Even though it cost me a little over a roll of quarters, there's something to be said about getting six load of laundry done - washed, dried and folded - in just about two hours, rather than the eight it would have taken me to get it all done here at the apartment.

Whew!

-But that's a good "Whew!"

And now I must hie myself down to midtown to check in at the casting agency, as well as to run a few errands.

Oh...

As for "Idol"...  Well, we've gone over this before, but...

Even though "AI" is billed as a singing competition, it really is more of a "performing" competition.  For better or worse.

Doesn't the musician's union have people to do that for you, DR JOSE?

Thanks for the NYC Broadway Laundry Report, Jose!

Here in Indiana all laundry was done yesterday and everything hung up or folded.  And just in time for some heavy rain.

The forecast calls for painting the living room, hallway, and kitchen on Thursday....calling DRLAURA....but since I will be at Ye Olde World of Wisdom, hopefully I will miss MOST of the mess.

Britten Pears Crozier

Thank you. DR Ben! I'm a huge fan of the Croziers.  Nancy Evans was a beautiful (physically and vocally) mezzo-soprano.  She was married originally to the abusive creep, Walter Legge of EMI Records, who later married Elizabeth Schwartzkopf.

Turning my attention toward that ABC program called "Dancing With the Stars", I have to say I find it truly odd that so many so-called straight performers end up moving around like so many posturing poofters.

Ballroom dance seems ridiculous in this context...never moreso than this season with so many of the males -- professional dancer and star, alike -- seemingly intent on casting aside masculine dance movements by embracing shoulder shimmies and booty shaking, hip wriggling and flouncing.

"Prancing With the Stars" is closer to the truth.

Yes, I'm on a tear and should lighten up, I suppose.  But the show creeps me out worse than anything I've seen...except that ONE final performance last season by Joey Lawrence "tripping gayly" around the dance floor in his sailor suit....and, "Oh! My! But wasn't he precious!"  It was his downfall on the show.  Below are Joey in sailor suit and his seemingly swaybacked partner "Edyta" something or another:

Watched some fun things this afternoon.

I began with LAW & ORDER: CRIMINAL INTENT. It was a story based on the Anna Nicole Smith debacle with son dying and then mother dying with a baby left of disputed parentage.

Nice murder mystery, but all the Anna Nicole references were creepy, and the actress playing her was a spot-on impersonator.
