Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Am I the only person who thinks there is something wrong with these online schools that say they will train you to be a psychologist?

LOL.  I wasn't aware such schools existed.

They keep sending me e-mails.

We are still supposedly going from 70 today, which is all we attained thanks to the persistent overcast, to 93 tomorrow and higher on Thursday.

It's raining a bit here in Tumwater.  I like it. :)

74 for the first day of summer on Thursday, and then back to rain on Friday.

I just got off the telephone with my medical insurance company.  We have decided that I don't owe $35,000.00 for my hospital stay in April.

I have to say it's heartening to read about Ginny and Cilla and the fact that at least one of their parents is still around, something that DW Wife Betsy also shares (both of hers are still alive).  My parents have been dead for so many years that it always surprises me to meet people in my general age group whose parents are still with us.  Love them while they're here!

My mother is as surprised as anyone to be approaching her 94th birthday, DR JMK!

It's nice to know that you could come to an agreement on that.

Back from banking, Dr. Chew (easy/breezy), picking up one package (the one I shipped home from NY), and eating a sandwich and onion rings.

Yes, back in NY for four days around August 7 - may be in Washington around the 13th, too, but that's not for sure.

August 7?  A mid-week trip?

Well, there was some miscommunication and the HVAC guys will be here Wednesday and Thursday, not Tuesday and Wednesday as we'd expected.  Not looking forward to sleeping without AC tonight and I'm definitely not cooking dinner.

Sorry.  I guess this also means you won't be cooking tomorrow night ;)

My Mother had an ultrasound on her leg today to rule out blood clots and, apparently, doesn't have anything that warranted admission to the hospital (a routine with which I'm very familiar...).  She also had 3 vials of blood drawn, with some difficulty, for some tests ordered by her new primary care physician.  It went pretty smoothly, but she was ready for a nap when I got her home.

That is good news.  Good vibes on the test results!!

I agree with both of you.

It did seem like an excessive amount.  Did they give you the correct sum due?  I hope it is now reasonable.

We also went to the dentist today to have our teeth cleaned.  Keith also had x-rays.

We are supposed to get hot summer weather beginning tomorrow.

According to different sites it will be between 94 and 97!

It's been beautiful the past few days. I don't deal well with hot weather. I will be hunkered down in the bedroom with the AC blasting. I will be reading

Dazzler - The Life and times of Moss Hart by Steven Bach

and

Born Round: The Secret History of A Full-time Eater By Frank Bruni

We'll be glad to send it your way.  We've had that for the past few days.  Tomorrow we'll be back to the 70s. Can't wait!

TOD - I think THE BIG CHILL falls into this category.  The irony is that they all think they know each other based on being in college together (Michigan - Go, Blue!), but as they spend the weekend after their friend's funeral together their differences are revealed.  Then, in the end, they seem to come back together.  One of my favorite movies!

One of my favorites too.

$600 is better than $32,000. Unless you were talking about a tax refund. Then $32,000 would be better.
