Congrats, Cillaliz.  My dad just hit the 8 month mark, and I couldn't be happier about it.

I'm ready for winter. Well, I guess I would like one more weekend to finish winterizing outside, but then I'm ready

Guy Groups:  every once in awhile I go on a Hi-los jag.

elmore:  Thanks, for the fascinating derivation of bodkin and ods bodkins.

WMKV is currently playing a lovely version of THERE'S A LULL IN MY LIFE...a favourite of mine.  I have Harry Richman doing it.  Miss June Christy is now singing a very jazzy version of EVERYTHING HAPPENS TO ME...another song I'm quite fond of.

MBarnum, when I did PSYCHO III, Mike Henry was the location manager.  One day I brought in an artcile I had on him in one of my Burroughs fanzines to show him and tried to get him to talk about Sy Weintraub, with whom I did my Sherlock Holmes films with...He could have cared less.  I gather it was not a fun time for him.  Still you'd think it would be better than being a location manager...

Thanks Jed.  I quit for 6 years and then started again about a year ago. I was ready to quit this time (unlike August when I wanted to quit but not really) so it was a lot easier.  The only problem now is I can really smell people's bad breath!  Ok, that sounds catty, but people in jail don't get to brush their teeth that often and well, it's bad.

Yes, I understand that Mike Henry's experiences with the Tarzan movies were not much fun for him.

If I could locate him I would love to do an interview with him...not just about the Tarzan films, but about his other film and television work.

But doggone if I cannot find a contact address for him!

Thanks MBarnum. I really believe I've quit this time.  I've had a few cravings, but haven't really thought about actually smoking again even though I've been to a party, a concert, a bar and out with friends who smoke. I'm very happy and see no reason I can't stick with it this time.

Well, I'm really off to bed this time.  I'm sleepy and have a very busy day in court tomorrow. Good night

Oh! I forgot to mention I got my Last Starfighter CD today!! The most fun is that I hadn't seen the movie and it was on HBO (or one of the movie channels) yesterday, so now I know the story and am even more anxious to hear it, unfortunately I didn't get to it tonight. Maybe tomorrow

Back from the reading.  I had to run to McDonald's to get food, my first food of the day at ten-thirty.  I thought I was going to drop during the second act of the play.  Whew!  Must now write the notes.

But, what a loverly day of excellent postings we've had!!!

Good Morning!

The chart is done.  Whew!  It actually turned out to be easier than I thought it would be due to some repeated sections - the joys of "cut and paste".  :)  And since I made good time, I went ahead and did some "detail" work on the layout - spacing, font sizes, etc.

However, I had a bit of scare when I went to print it out - which is part of the reason why I'm still up and posting this so late/early.  I was getting some sort of printer driver conflict, and the program kept crashing as soon as I would open the file.  And then once I got it open, nothing would appear on the screen.  Thankfully, I found a "fix", and I was able to make the music reappear on the screen.  However, the text boxes with the tempos, measure numbers, etc., seemed to have disappeared.  Well, after about ten minutes of putting those back in, everything seems to be working fine now.

-And I've saved the file under a few different fille names as well as backed it up to my memory stick, my online storage, and my other computer.  And I've printed out two copies of it.  Maybe I'll go for a third.

In any case...  It's done.  For now.

DR Jason - Well... I was going to be away from New York for the next three months regardless - whether in DC and/or San Francisco, so...

At least since I'm in DC, I can come back on Mondays - and you can come down to see the show here too.

But it has been great getting to spend more time with you, and getting to know you better.  -And introducing you to Becco!  ;)

I'll be back soon.

:)

Hmm.... And who knows how many relatives I would have run into at Lea's concert had I been able to go tonight.

;)

-Sorry - That's a really "in" Filipino joke.

Well, let me close up shop here on this computer - believe it or not, I'm currently on three computers right now - two laptops and one dekstop.  Time to begin Shutting Down for the evening...
