-
If I don't go back to bed.
I wish I had that option.
-
The library got in a recent Jimmy Webb album of him singing duets with everyone from Billy Joel to Linda Rondstadt. Good stuff but they don’t sing one of my favorites, The Moon’s a Harsh Mistress.
-
Good morning, all.
-
Back home from the VW dealer, with a loaner, because we're finally resuming the work on my a/c system that was so rudely interrupted by both my drive to Ohio and fallout from the storm.
-
Good morning.
-
Car A/C vibes for DR CHAS SMITH.
-
Vibes for DR TCB's sister's stepson's wife....
-
The day is currently overcast, but it already shows signs that it is going to clear up soon.
-
The Gershwin show sounds like it's going to be S'Wonderful.
-
Vibes to the family of DR TCB!
Thank you, Jane.

Working on the slide show....TWO of those lousy orphans have been in Florida for six rehearsals, so I can't finish it until I get their photos and bios.
I wish I was talented and secure enough to MISS all those rehearsals....especially if I've just been marking my gymnastic and dance moves and mumbling my lines since rehearsal started....
-
Vibes for DR TCB's sister's stepson's wife....
Quite a mouthful, don't you think? Thank you, Jrand.

You know, I am SO glad I will only be a lowly keyboard player for the upcoming ANNIE in our town. :)
-
1. Show up.
2. Make a buck.
3. Get the hell out of there.
-
I'm up, I'm up - about seven and a half hours of sleep. Forgot I had an eleven o'clock phone meeting for the Sherman event. So, trying to get coherent.

My guess is they didn't put the conflict on the audition sheet - but they also attend the dance studio where the titular choreographer teaches part time.....
-
I shall return unless Louis Howe pushes me down the steps after the Cabinet meeting.

Two more numbers and the first edit of Act One of How To Succeed . . . is finished: "Rosemary" and "Act One Finale."
-
Dr Mohr will see Annabelle about her lip problem on Friday morning at 10. Thatch's eye, thank God, is looking fine, so I'm hoping that was just a scare.
-
Good evening!
-
Page 2?
-
Good afternoon.
-
Elmore, did Annabelle's dental surgery fix her other problem?
-
Rex is still hanging on. I take him to the vet in about an hour.

Tuesday evening greetings from Paducah, Kentucky! We took Laura to breakfast and left in time for her to get to a 9am meeting. Based on the weather forecast, we did something on our way that we’d planned to do as a day trip from here tomorrow or Thursday - visiting the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Pics on my Facebook page, if anyone cares to see/share them here.

Dames at Sea/I'm a Fan (http://www.kritzerland.com/dames.htm) has arrived in Tumwater!
AND in the Constitution State!
-
Pretty photos DR Ginny.
-
Pretty photos DR Ginny.
Thanks, DR Jane! It’s an awesome sight, but very sad that the state park there is so poorly maintained and Cairo, the nearby town, is a veritable ghost town. You have to REALLY want to see the confluence...
-
That is a shame.
-
That is a shame.
It really is, especially considering the historical significance of the area.
-
The remnants of subtropical storm Alberto have arrived in western Kentucky. It’s raining quite heavily and isn’t supposed to let up until about noon tomorrow.
-
What is this page three malarky?
-
Had the phoner, which was fine, then I immediately went and had some bacon and eggs and started in reading and making notes on the latest draft of the musical. I was hoping that the last set would have been done as discussed, but alas, many weren't and those will all have to be addressed, but this time I was merciless and made tons of line suggestions, moving stuff around, a few deletions, a few necessary additions, but mostly notes about the intentions of my notes - why I want them and why they will all help the story being clear. And I came up with a great last line for the show whilst on my three-mile jog. So, I'm meeting Doug at ten and we will sit in a restaurant and we will not leave until he's written down every single thing that I've written in my script.

Watching the end of Dark Passage. It's a lot better than I remember. Really good Bogie and great Agnes Morehead.
-
Here you go, Ginny.

Dark Passage had a thrilling Waxman score with plenty of Too Marvelous for Words thrown in for very good measure.
-
Been on a Laurie Anderson kick lately. So, I hauled out Heart of a Dog, which is as wonderfully warped as I remember it being.
-
ChasSmith, have you made any progress on getting your car AC fixed?
-
Getting ready for Saturday's competition. It's not easy. Everybody keeps trying to teach me something new. I think the time for that is next week.
-
ChasSmith, do you know when the next half-price Criterion sale is going to be at Barnes & Noble?
-
Say, are you perhaps made of glass?
-
It's a question only Laurie Anderson could ask.
-
Tomorrow brings the announcement of our new director.
-
I'm going to miss it because I'm having my hair cut.
-
go figure.
-
Four!
-
Someone on one of my Book of Face groups is asking for favorite film adaptations of good works of literature.
-
The list is long, but a few of my favorites:
A Room with a View
The Maltese Falcon
The Thin Man
Mr. and Mrs. Bridge
Jean de Florette/Manon des Sources
Cold Comfort Farm
Howards End
Remains of the Day (sense a Merchant Ivory theme?)
-
What are your favorites?
-
I'm off to bed.
-
Good night, all.
-
Page FOUR?
-
Finished with my viewing and will head to the ten o'clock notes session in about thirty-five minutes.

DR John thanks for posting the photos.

I think I'll take a nice hot shower before my long notes session. Yes, I just think I will.
-
I'm watching the season premiere of America's Got Talent.
-
So for, some acts have bed pretty good.
-
The one I just watched was hysterical!
-
I shall now be on my way to have a long notes session. I can't imagine tomorrow's notes will be up until about one.
-
Four guys said they were going to do "My Heart Will Go On" by Il Divo, but what they did was spit water out of their mouths (from water bottles)...they're "human fountains," as described in this YouTube video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v12Lw2i5xpw)! :))
-
What are your favorites?
To Kill a Mockingbird
-
Another Pack movie, Gentlemen's Agreement
-
The Good Earth
-
I need to try and sleep since I didn't get much last night.
-
Good evening.
-
The other day, I was putting my scooter in the trunk and I lifted the motor part (the heavy one) wrong; and it hurt.
-
Since then, my left shoulder has really been sore.
-
Now, the soreness and stiffness has moved into my neck.
-
I feel like I-gor (what hump?), but when I looked in the mirror, I am not doing a Quasimodo impersonation.
-
I have some Aspercreme, but I don’t want to stink up the clean sheets.

Tomorrow is the old actors’ lunch.
-
We are going to The Fish Peddler, down by the glass museum.
-
I would rather skip it, but this week was my choice.
-
I would rather skip it, but this week was my choice.
Yes, it would be rather rude to pick a place and then not show up...unless you were just being mean and picked a place that no one liked.
-
;)

Good idea! I will save that for another day.
-
I hope it will be warm enough to sit outside.
-
When you eat inside, you are only a few feet from the actual fish market.
-
I think it is supposed to be nice.
-
Well, I am getting very tired.
-
I think I will not be awake for the new notes.
-
So, until tomorrow.
-
Good night.
-
Good night, Tom.
-
Well, I need to go to sleep now, too.
Good night and have a good day, all!
