Help! I now have a room with books all over the floor but am too tired to finish organizing. (And I'm saying this like Katherine Hepburn.)

Alas, no Benicio tonight. We drove to the Egyptian to get early tickets for 21 GRAMS and discovered that the tickets which I was assured were not sold out, were indeed sold out. Hearing this, my daughter uttered something I won't print on a family website.

.... and you wonder why I am letting BK adopt me?

Tomorrow, tomorrow - what are we, Annie all of a sudden?  I don't know if I'll make it to 1500 without a LITTLE help from my friends.

Okay, Bruce, here are a few last minute questions that have nothing to do with what's been talked about at all:  What was the very first song that you wrote.  What was it about?  Was it part of a show or just a song on its own?

There.  You can answer each question separately and (legitimately) add to your total!

And how old were you when you wrote it?

Who here has a soft spot in their hearts for the film musical "Snow White and the Three Stooges"?????

I love that film, but my all-time favorite stooge film is Have Rocket Will Travel.  Why isn't that released on DVD?

I went to Fred Meyer (I got a gift card for Christmas) and I bought the DVD of "9 To 5" with Jane Fonda, Dolly Parton and Lily Tomlin.  I love this movie and have never owned it!  And it's in Widescreen!

I also got the DVD, "Muppets Magic from The Ed Sullivan Show."  It "features the first Muppet performance on The Ed Sullivan Show from September 18, 1966."  And it includes "Rare Bonus Futtage!"  I love the Muppets!

Hello all!  I've been unexpectedly out of town since last evening.  Got a call from my best friend from college telling me that she was in Ellensburg (my hometown and where our university is) for a couple days on her way back to Reno (grad school).  So I bombed down there and had a lovely and sparkling time hanging out with her and other college friends.

I'm currently setting stuff up on my new computer, which I recieved this evening.  No more fershluganah Mac!!! :D

And now I have a veritable plethora of posts from the last 30 hours to catch up on!

DR Tomovoz, you're correct!
What is everyone's favorite Beatles song? I generally prefer their earlier recordings. One of my favorites is "In My Life." Hmm I know there are so many more I absolutely adore. Perhaps I will be reminded by something else someone posts.

"In My Life" would be right up there. "If I Fell", "And I Love Her" and "Here There and Everywhere" would be in my top 10 too.

I think this is the first time on the new board that there have been consecutive days with 400+ posts. I know you needed to know that.

George: I could answer your question but you'll have much more fun reading about the song in Kritzer Time.

If my experience is anything to go by, DR Jed will not be posting until the new notes. There are so many posts - some you can skate over though!

Danise, there are pictures around of Sean Flynn before he was lost. He was very, very handsome.

Actually, Danise and Matt, Sean Flynn actually made, at least, one movie that I know of, for sure.  It was like a remake of Thief of Baghdad.  I was crushed when he died.

Of course, we can keep posting after that, but to the new topic.  We can get a nice head start or, at the very least, a nice foot start.

And, I do believe I just achieved 1500 posts!

I've never really been a Beatles fan.  I do like a lot of their songs, though, but when I was in high school, we had to sing "Michele" (is that how it's spelled?) in Show Choir and I've hated that song ever since.

There was another Beatles song that I can't stand as well, but I've blocked out the title.  I can't remember it but...unfortunately...will probably wake up in the middle of the night singing it.  I hate it when that happens.
