I like lots of different chilis (except sweet). Texas chili has some fire and plenty of meat, no beans. I've had a vegetarian chili made with lentils that I liked. White chili with chicken in it can be very good. I love me some Cincinnati chili with its chocolate, coffee and a touch of heat (I add more).
I guess what I don't like is the texture of kidney beans. It's kinda like chewing on spackle or sandpaper, rough and unappealing. So, I don't mind pintos in some chilis, but I'm not going to seek them out first.
